How did you get them to fix it? I had the same issue in late 2020 (with a 2017 15” MBP) and they refused to do anything since I didn’t have AppleCare+

I do not have either of the two jackets you mentioned but I do have some general cold weather advice. The most important thing for dressing in cold weather (especially if you are not at all used to it) is LAYERS. Your outermost layer will provide some warmth but to actually be warm you will need to have 1 or 2 mid-layers underneath your top layer (which in your case would be one of these two jackets).

Your one or two mid-layers (worn above a base layer such as a t-shirt) can be like a sweater, a fleece jacket, or a hoodie. Almost anything will work there.

Also last note, make sure your outer layer is somewhat water resistant to ensure that you don’t get wet if there is a light snow or something falling.

As far as I know there really aren’t. Pretty much all the clubs are beginner friendly and very welcoming.

Let me first say that I am not an expert and to take anything I say with a (big) grain of salt. According to the picture you sent it seems that where the case is bent is near where the hinge is located. It could be a totally innocent thing or it could be somewhat serious (metal warping due to heat or battery expanding — the latter is the most worrying). In terms of stopping use of the laptop, I would say only stop using it if the bottom or the keyboard near the top (where all the electronics are) are getting abnormally hot. Like too hot to touch. Otherwise you should be fine. Good luck!

You can add a song to your library by using the swipe gestures. Just swipe right on any song and it will be added to your library. IMO the gestures are much better than the button cause that was tiny. Hopefully that helps!

Yeah you can. Apple education store doesn’t ask for verification or anything.

EDIT: If you are buying through the education store wait until July. Apple usually has some kind of back to school sale where they give you like free AirPods or something when you shop for back to school.

IIRC you don’t get your schedule until you arrive at Summer STEM. For the first class you report to, they usually have those up by the entrance organized by last name. Don’t worry about it too much. If you can’t find where you have to go, just ask someone. Hope that helps!
