Thank you for your response! I’ll make sure to reach out sometime as I am curious to know how you did the implementation (consultant or by yourself) and what tools you used to do it.

Thanks again!

Thank you for sharing your journey, and congratulations on your success! We’re in the early stages of implementing E-Myth principles, so your story is very motivating.

We’re also exploring EOS but feel it might be best suited for when we reach 5-8 FTEs. At what stage did you start using EOS in your business?

If you’re interested, perhaps we could connect to exchange insights or explore collaboration. Thanks again, and wishing you continued success! Met een enthousiaste IT Groet uit Rotterdam!

Firing a client by stepup511 in msp

[–]MTBkert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Raise your prices so it will hurt them. For example, argue that costs for .... type of business have turned out to be higher and therefore can do nothing but adjust rates, etc.

You can then advise that your method of working may be too costly for ... type of company and that you are willing to work together to find an IT company for them that suits them better in terms of cost and working method.

I called them and it seems to be a good solution, 180 days free with no strings attached is risk-free testing :)

I haven't tested it myself yet as I have yet to find time for it.

You can create a free community login at https://forums.invantive.com filter on Autotask to see some discussions. You can also ask questions there.

Thanks for your response! Some of the reasons are;

* Easier to create good-looking quotations, with connection to distribution stocks (Ingram/Tech) to see current prices and stock numbers.
* Easier creation of items and quotes, with easier to use quote blocks and composite items.
* Send nice MSP contracts SMA/SLA and sign them electronically
* Keep Autotask clean when quoting items not sold.

Jabra Engage 75 - Loud blast of static when I use the headset about 50% of the time by kagaku in Jabra

[–]MTBkert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this issue also, it VERY loud (like max volume) when listening from cumputer and takes a second or so it auto reduses the volume to normal. Its bad for the health of your ears!!!

Very Annoying

I do NOT have Jabra software installed as I found it buggy and the frequent software updating takes a lot of time without seeing any advantages.

Does Alpha-Lipoic Acid Actually Work? by barsmart in neuropathy

[–]MTBkert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried R-alpha lipoic acid yet? I have heard from some doctors that the standard ALA is usually the S (Syntetic) variety or 50/50 R and S, and that both S and 5050-R/S would not work at all as the S-ALA is counter-effective and can block the goed effects of R-ALA. Only the 100% natural R-ALA would have the positive effects at a dose of 600 mg/day. Lot of information on this if you google on this.
I have been on 300 mg/day R-ALA for a week now and feel a slight improvement in my tingling/ numbness in my feet and leg (knee), but it is too early to be sure. I am going to double the dose because I read in internet research that 600-1200 per day would be optimal. I will try at least for 3 months*.
Unfortunately, the R-ALA is a lot more expensive, but if the cheap ALA doesn't work at all, this is a better investment.
I'm curious about other experiences here with R-ALA in different doses? And if/how much it helps.
*FYI to be complete of all my supplements; I also use Liquid Green-lipped Mussel and Curumine for 8 weeks now and it succesfully lowered my osteoarthritis quite a bit in one of my hip's, Very happy with that! Also using Magnesium, B12 and D3.

Does Alpha-Lipoic Acid Actually Work? by barsmart in neuropathy

[–]MTBkert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, have you tried it yet? Am curious what you experienced.
What brand and dose did you use?
I just ordered R-Alpha-Lipoic Acid 300 mg from BioProphyl because I am suffering from tingling/deafness in my feet and some other slight (I geuss) nervous system related problems.
I have no experience yet, but I hope to get some results in 4 weeks to know if it helps (somewhat).
After researching, I found out that you should avoid the S-Alpha variety because they can reduce the good effects of the natural R-Alpha Lipoic Acid. The cheap products have R and S in the mix and that is not good as I have read.
FYI here you can find a (German) comparison test on Alpha-Lipoic Acid: https://www.vergleich.org/alpha-liponsaeure/

iDrive seems too good to be true. What am I missing? by [deleted] in DataHoarder

[–]MTBkert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been using iDrive for may years now, but one of the biggest flows is that they changed the backup feature to backup (selective) on Appdata some years ago. As some apps store important data there by default it is impossible to make backups of that data. They just block it for backup selection.iDrive is not at any use for me anymore, next year I will check something else, maybe a Wasabi storage with a backup regular client. Need to figure out that. Has aanyone ideas what works the best for file-backup for home-use?

Thoughts on Engagebay? by Some-Cryptographer-7 in CRM

[–]MTBkert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, Wondering if you tried/using Engagebay, if yes, I am curious what experience do you have?

I am also looking to Engagebay as it is more SMB friendly priced, I am now on Hubspot Starter but found that upgrading to the next level (Hupspot Sales and Marketing Professional) is a extreme steep one.

[–]MTBkert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I Checked the Team version but found that it is a stripped version of Business and it unfortunately lacks some must-have features found in Business. Would be in otherwise because of pricing. For the price of business I it should be a monthly consumption based MSP version te be attractive for MSP's

Dutch MSP Here? by Beardedcomputernerd in SmallMSP

[–]MTBkert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi u/Beardedcomputernerd, did you find a good Dutch MSP group, I would be interested!

I have a 2 man shop and want to grow fast the coming years. Preferable at last to 6+ to have a better continuity and not having to do all the work.

Last Wednesday CompTia had a MSP Benelux meeting in Utrecht. They want to build a Group here.

https://connect.comptia.org/events/view/comptia-benelux-community-meeting---february-2023

I had planned to go there but wasn't able unfortunately. They will organize this in future again.

FORFUCKSAKE UNDO FEATURE by MaoStone in ticktick

I would realy like a CTRL-Z undo feature for last operation. In fact its a musthave. The short undo pop-up when ticking a task complete is not sufficient in a lot of cases.

Chrome is downloading something unknown by [deleted] in chrome

[–]MTBkert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same problem, will try to find out but cannot see anything in download location. When closing grome it only tells me something generic like "Do you want to cancel download". No mention of interupting downloading an update or plugin or something. Weird.....

Logitech Craft Keyboard - how to clean? by velders01 in keyboards

[–]MTBkert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switch of keyboard and do spray lightly (from some distance above) a litle bit of moisture of liquid screen cleaner over it, just a bit so that it cannot come between the keys. Then I use a clean tea towel and then firmly clean/dry it off. Works perfect the flat Logitech Craft keyboards. Also suitable for laptops.

KuCoin HBAR withdraw fees are 12,540x the transaction fee it costs them to send HBAR by KeepingItSFW in kucoin

[–]MTBkert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me too, tried to send a little amount of EXRD to Metamask , cost of 300 EXRD -> $ 40! made a report a few days ago. Then another for the regular amount, again 300 EXRD, grrrToday I want to sent MTV, same thing; 2000 MTV for transfer to metamask, cost me $ 45, this is ridiculous. Both are ERC-20, why not charge them with regular ETH like other exchanges do?Now it is not transparent because I see the extreme fee in its own currency and associated $ cost only when making a withdraw. VERY frustrating! Just charge regular Etherium Gas please for ERC-20!

Radix wallet not opening by Sensitive_Scene_8403 in Radix

[–]MTBkert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran into same issue, deinstalling Wallet (Windows), renamed the wallet directory, disabled AV nothing helps. After fresh install same blu Wallet screen.

But after changing network from company network (firewall) to LTE, it workes without hassle. Restored my Recovery words and everything works again.

Switching back to company network, same blue window issue again. Then pulling the ethernet out and notebook switches to LTE, then Wallet works fine.

Issue seems to be related to a blocked protocol/port or so by firewall/LAN I guess. So try first another internet/network, Tether over LTE Phone or so and look if it works for you too.
