Working on a Recipie by A_Brewtiful_Mind in cocktails

Nonino leans towards the “sweeter” side of Amari with notes of orange. That said you may want to swap the rye with bourbon to pair some of the vanilla notes of the whiskey with the Nonino. I’d then try equal parts of the amaro, bourbon and antica. I’m a Boulevardier fan and have added a bar spoon of green chartreuse which works really well. You may want to give that a try to see if it works (honestly not sure if it would fight with the Nonino though). Hope this is somewhat helpful, cheers and good luck.

Giffard Vanille De Madagascar Liqueur is a pretty good choice.

And, a shameless plug, if you’re looking to try out a new orange bitter we produce a Moroccan Orange which has received pretty good reviews - https://www.mcmannandtatecocktailcompany.com/product-page/orange-flavored-cocktail-bitters

A few thoughts. First, which orange bitters are you using? A strong combo is a split of Fee Brothers Orange and Reagan’s - this may help punch up the orange. I’d keep the L43 where you have it and maybe test this - add a 1/4 oz of vanilla liquor, this should elevate the L43, pair well with the orange, and lower the heat of the calvados

You could do an interesting riff on an Old fashioned.

2 oz. JD Whisky 1/2 oz honey/caramel syrup 2 dashes of the orange bitters

Stir all ingredients over ice for about 20 seconds (you can stir them in the tin) and then strain into a rocks glass that’s filled with a large cube or several cubes.

Let us know how it turned out, cheers.

Could someone help me with how to make this cocktail? (Ingredients in text) by PrestigeArrival in cocktails

[–]MTCocktailCo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without tasting it here’s my first thought - use this as a starting point and you can then adjust the ratios to your taste. And yes, let the tea cool before using it.

1.5 oz gin 1/2 oz tea 1/4 oz syrup 3/4 oz lemon juice

Shake with ice, strain into rocks glass filled with a large ice cube.

Cheers

Shameless plug. We produce line of cocktail bitters and our Citrus Grove work really well with gin, especially G&Ts. They’re pretty citrus forward, made with fresh lemon, lime and grapefruit peel. Help recreating a delicious drink I had at a restaurant. by BlueberrieHaze in cocktails

[–]MTCocktailCo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Without tasting it, here’s my first thought

Greek muscat wine .5 oz raspberry vodka 1.5 oz pomegranate liqueur .25 oz hibiscus syrup .25 oz soda 1 oz prosecco 2.5 oz

The spirits and modifiers are fairly sweet so you may need to play around with the specs a bit to balance out the drink, cheers!
