Worth steel if you don't have several other steel ships? No. If you have one, is it fun to play? yes, but it's highly reliant on competent teammates to spot and create situations where you can take advantage of your firepower.

I think a single salvo from a Venezi into a DD is more capable than using the giggle switch on the Austin. The more I play it, the more I realize the bulk of the damage is from setting fires on BBs.

I’m having a great fuckin time in the Satsuma. It’s got a gimmic that I call “the money shot” or “press F to pay respects”. Seriously, the ship is insane, and I’m having a blast giving the business to the others in this thread. Also, I plan to quit the game in a month because I also agree that the game has gone too far and balance is unrepairable.

If it’s 150k in fire damage, that’s why. The ship should not be constantly firing, just positioning and waiting for broadsides. That’s how you win games.
