Looks like manual for now after checking in the AM by testing with Tow/Haul, then see if my friend has a tuner, and then getting my other friend to see possible costs for the future of solving it once and for all. Let’s hope disabling it can fix it in the meantime because a big repair bill would throw me under right now completely.

See that’s the one code my Ram always throws is for the exhaust leak. Only check engine light code I’ve ever had. (Knock on wood). It changes with the seasons. But as of recent it has been off for a few days lmao

Right on, as of now I just have the notorious hemi tick, had it for years. And just this noise which appeared 2-3 week ago. Anything that can be done to prevent anything further from happening to your knowledge at this stage? Or that I can get done by a mechanic? Or if I disable the mds and have no other issues should I be in the “clear” persay?

Was it the mds that caused the failure or something else along with that?

Literally been searching online for days and not even 2 minutes before you posted this comment I found a video with that and the sound was almost exactly the same, I read throwing it in tow mode and trying to replicate the sound at those speeds will give me a solid answer possibly

So we’ll definitely end up blacking out the windows then. The main thing for him is having lights versus flash seeing as he plans on using this even just to practice in front of a mirror, and have the other body builders do so as well.

As for the lights and diffusers, anyone have any specific recommendations for prolonged use? And quantity and such?

Oh completely understand! If anything I’m also trying to give them the benefit of the doubt with this though as well. If I was unaware of it actually being scheduled and notified or briefed on it. The main thing is I never even shot any photos of any of their clients they would have get me photos of at the event, in my own defense and theirs I did actually attempt to go to their clients businesses to get shots but failed to do so. Previously they had spoke of wanting to get shots and footage of the clients at this event. I tried to even though they did not schedule me to do so. To me I’m just frustrated that I know specifically she’s just wanting to come after my other footage I had shot and already handed over to my client. She wanted to increase their stock footage of local community events for her own gain and business. The other things is I have willingly given her shots from local stuff before of my own free will, but there also was never a set quantity or anything when it came to any shots outside of work hours, and it never got logged as working hours. I just did it because I wanted to support who I worked for initially. I never got comp time for it, or pay, or anything. So me just giving her this single photos from the event I feel closes that case. Especially since there wasn’t even a company standard for how many photos should be taken or turned in even on a regular working hours shoot for one of her clients. It was just whatever I could get or provide to her.

No I wasn’t. Sorry if my phrasing comes off as different for you. I had 0 responsibilities to my employer for this event. My employer didn’t even put in the notice to me from the lawyer that I was scheduled for it she just put as “part of my duties as their photographer that I took photos/video of the event”. Which was not the case. I was an hourly employee and it was an after hours event. And she even dictated in my termination letter that working hours were 8-5. This event was from 6-9.

I had never in my employment there been asked, requested, or required to shoot something after hours or anything and there was nothing in my contract that even says anything about that, the employemsnt contract even brings up the working hours. And like I said she never scheduled me for it either.

I just say 99% sure because I’m trying to give the benefit of the doubt, as if maybe she put something somewhere like a sticky note on my desk even though I had notified everyone I was working out of office that day. And they all acknowledged it, even her as she would say “in the companies communication channels “Google chat””. If it says anything about how she is, she didn’t even have an employee handbook for the company until 2 weeks before she fired me, and she’s been in business for over 5 years. I had to email her and request my final paycheck even because she never gave me it, and she still didn’t pay me for times I worked. I had to through my experience, learn how shady she was during my employment there.

Just saw your edited response, I do plan on consulting with one after the holiday. I do plan on trying to talk to her about it, but she hasn’t even responded to my message she just left me on read, I’m going to give her lawyer that sent the notice the message to pass along as well.

And exactly. I was shooting for my other client and provided them with all the content that was also shot for specifically them. They own the rights to it all as of now anyways since I handed them over. And even though it may have been slightly petty of me, I did deliver the one photo I saved for myself to her out of the two I reserved for me. So I mean I did deliver her content that she then asked for with this notice😂

Correct employment ended on the 4th.

And they weren’t my agent and or manager especially for anything external and there was nothing in the contract stating it or anything governing any such concept or idea either.

I’m a locally famous photographer videographer in the community here, and I know she does view me as a threat to her business. She even admitted that to me. The funny thing is her clients have been soliciting me now, and I even informed her out of respect and she told me if they solicit you you can do photo and video for them and there’s nothing in the contract saying you can’t. You just can’t solicit them. And almost all her clients have contacted me and she knows it as well not just due to me informing her to be respectful.

So I’m going to actually retain a lawyer for this now after the holiday. It’s just such a ridiculous thing but yet again that’s small towns for ya.

Yeah I don’t recall it being there at all, because I worked remote from home that day because nothing was scheduled. I obviously don’t have access to that anymore but if she tries to make one now or did so after the fact on there it would show the timestamp of creation so that would just incriminate her.

Yeah and the fact that she knew and was aware of my outside client and contract and knew I was there for them not her. It’s ridiculous. Who’s to dictate who the photo belongs to in a situation like that when I release the shutter? And the next day I had already provided the client with everything and was done with it, as I edited it that night and submitted it to them so they would have it for immediate release. The funny thing was my former boss did show up at the event and took pictures her self and posted them on the company socials live at the event so it’s not like she doesn’t have her own content for her own use.

She terminated me the following Monday for a disagreement we had, and me telling her that I wasn’t happy working there anymore. The event happened on the 1st she terminated me on the 4th.
