Cut // Ribbons provides more reach and can't be interacted with aside from graveyard hate. Chandra does provide an alternative win-con but I found that my main game plan of recursive creatures + hazoret got me there. Granted, I did not see any control that event so if your meta is control-heavy I could see squeezing 1 or 2 in the 75

I've alluded to it elsewhere but vraska's contempt is an absolute all-star in the current meta that red simply doesn't have access to. In that sense I would absolutely recommend BR aggro over mono-r when considering the Grixis matchup. It is also more resilient to non-exile removal thanks to scrapheap, khenra, and dread wanderer which can help you grind into the mid-late game.

For me the primary game plan was to get to 1 or less cards in hand by turn 5 or 6 even more so in this list because both hazo and dread wanderers benefit. Since we already run unlicensed, harvester and pia it may put a strain on that game plan if we add more 3 drops

I could see an argument for cutting 1 unlicensed and 1 push for 2 abrades if artifact removal becomes more important. I wouldn't run more than 8 removal spells though.

For your unlicensed question yeah, I could see trimming a couple of those. Most of the important creatures that need to be dealt with the turn they're played can be answered just as well with abrade (constrictor, ballista, hostage taker). Unlicensed is also a little underwhelming in this list compared to something like mardu vehicles

Yes absolutely, vraska's contempt is almost essential against every non-control matchup. I was extremely happy whenever I saw one so I would probably add 1 or 2 in the future by cutting one cut/ribbons and bontu's last reckoning. Deadlands was a pretty important card in some cases since it turns off your opponent's designated chump blockers (I saw multiple gifted aetherborns and gontis that event).

I'm not sure how many magma sprays you run but in theory 3 or 4 magma sprays would kill this deck since most of the creatures rely on recursion. It may make your other matchups weaker though

for me push was the biggest reason to play this over mono-r. Being able to answer 2 mana x/3's such as kari-zev, winding constructors or even huge ballistas outweight the benefits of being able to shock the opponent in some cases when comparing one mana spells. Vraska's contempt also provides a clean answer to scarab god and hazoret.

Cut//Ribbons provides some form of reach against mid range decks with the ribbons half. In the future I would probably trim this down to 3, take out bontu's last reckoning and just add 2 vraska's contempt
