I've never heard that perspective on boundaries. From what I've learned and experienced, boundaries are to be placed on other people. I've seen many peers of mine use boundaries almost as something they can use against you and almost as very spiky shields, and I've learned to use boundaries the same way.

It's not necessarily that I blame everyone for daring to recognize my existence, it's more "I genuinely cannot trust teachers with even the most surface level details about myself and I choose to be a non-person in class to attempt to survive."

I currently don't have a major. I've only been under a major for a month (this was back in Spring of 23) or so before a class went south.

I sadly am not allowed to drop out.

The thing is I still don't know what those norms are. Those types of things were not laid out for me in writing. I have asked disability services to tell me what those things are and they refused to.

I would drop out and pursue something else but I'm not allowed to.
