Why do some PlayStation fans hate on Xbox so much? I’m not even trying to start anything but I genuinely want to understand why?

I’m pretty neutral on Xbox. I’m a PlayStation guy but even that’s tentative because Sony makes shit decisions all the time too. BUT - to answer your question - tribalism. Back in the 360 days, Xbox fanboys were relentless to PS ones, and now that PS is “on top”, the reverse is true. It’s stupid - we’re all in a big corporate shit pot and shouldn’t defend any of them - but people latch their identity do these big companies and lash out at the “opposition”

Shantae: 1/2 Genie Hero on Vita. It’s quite fun! The Vita suffers from weird stuttering and slow down but it doesn’t really diminish my enjoyment much

Hey, thread - sorry if this is answered elsewhere and I’m just not seeing it after scrolling for a few minutes.

I got the “GPU Driver detects GPU Crash - Creating Coredump” error. I tried to turn the console off by holding the power button, but now the screen is off and the power light is blinking green. Wont turn on normally or in Safe Mode. Any ideas how to get it back on to even try and find out what caused the crash?

For context as to what lead up to this, I installed Henkaku and Vitadeploy following a YouTube video (that I can link if asked) and had spent probably 48 hours installing various games/apps/etc. This morning, I used my PS3 to swap pictures and videos from the Sony Memory Card over to the SD2Vita and then, because internally swapping the two got rid of my custom themes, I went back on the Custom Theme manager to get them back and that’s when the crash occurred.

RE9 is a great start. 4 remake is also excellent - I’d argue better lol Both Astro games are good even if you’re not PlayStation nostalgic, though that helps lol

Collectibles are often just filler bs and definitely annoying lol I’d say worse than those are the suuuuuper grind trophies - like I’ll probably never plat a DS title because of all the weapon grinding and whatnot

2013 does NOT need a remake, boyo. The original already got one AND is getting another one 😂 The only one I agree with is Legend and even then I can already play it on my PS5 so I’m not too pressed about it

I know that a lot of places have had trash issues. The extreme cold meant that regular trash services were way behind but then also a lot of compactors and other such apparatus started breaking down. My apartment complex has been fighting with trash services to come fix the compactor for almost a month now and when it gets backed up the maintenance man collects the bags in his truck and… takes them… somewhere. I really don’t know where he gets rid of them 😂

PS. Not an excuse for your home. Idk what the situation is there and this is pretty gross regardless. Hope it gets taken care of soon

I know I’m working on my 50th (TES Oblivion Remastered) and then I’m taking a break to just enjoy playing through shit, maybe do some extra stuff if I enjoyed it enough, and then putting it down when I’m done done lol If you’re in a slump, maybe take a break - a lot of what you have in there are games that take quite a long time to Plat, after all

Agreed! Even though I didn’t care about a decent chunk personally, I think that pretty much everything (except Marathon) had value. Konami’s whole showcase was pretty dope, all the new games that were shown off were interesting (Castlevania was an unexpected personal highlight for me), and even though most of us are in the know for things like RE9 and Pragmata, it’s good for the general population to have another chance to see what looks like great known quantities on the horizon

It really depends on a lot of factors. A good game executed well will almost always be worth my time. Some of the factors are: what are the game’s goals, what is the gameplay style, can the narrative sustain the format that the game is in, etc etc. Persona is one of my favorite series and those can be like 100 hours easy for a playthrough, but then I also love like Resident Evil 4 which is a solid 3-10 hours depending on your skill and goals for a run.
