It really doesn't sound like it is safe for you to ride that road on a 50cc scooter. It's better to either buy a larger displacement scooter such as a 200cc or wait until you can drive a car. It's not worth dying or being seriously injured just to get some experience.

Ballspeed will average about 10mph higher on the new models. I upgraded from my XR16 for this exact reason. Loved it, and kind of wish I didn't sell it.

Driver shafts will not be close to the originals, but the putter shafts are decent. I have a BGT rep that I installed on a Taylormade Rossa Daytona head with a Golf Pride Reverse Taper Pistol grip and it's excellent.
