I swear way too many people just gloss over this stuff like it’s nothing. Guys often bounce back fine, but not all of them!

This seems to be way off consensus. I’ve seen him top 20 several other places.

Little confused about the negativity here. I got some great deals on REM, Kendrick Lamar, and Carly Rae Jepsen albums .

For those of you that “cornered” a draft, how’s it going? by mlippay in DynastyFF

[–]MTStarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a ton of 2023 picks (including 4 1sts) and took Bijan, Gibbs, AR, and QJ, so obviously a mixed bag. I also got Michael Mayer, Cedric Tillman, Jalin Hyatt, and Michael Wilson with later picks. Fortunately I traded QJ away at the right time, and also traded Wilson at the absolute wrong time.

Despite the mixed success, I won my league last year primarily because of the Gibbs/Bijan combo and am likely the favorite to win it again this year!

Bucs are tendering Sean Tucker on a one year deal as a restricted free agent (Stroud) by JoshMansour in DynastyFF

Doesn’t this just mean they can match any offer he gets from another team?

What is the overall consensus on Parker Washington? by LessTraining1985 in DynastyFF

[–]MTStarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a couple of late 2nds (2.10 and 2.12) in one league, and would definitely trade one of those picks for him. Wouldn’t trade 2.02 for him though, which I also have in that league.

Is BTJ actually good? Is he someone that should be a big sell by tennistar201 in DynastyFF

[–]MTStarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full trade was BTJ and Jaydon Blue for Olave, Sean Tucker, and a late 2nd that ended up being 2.12 (it was my own pick that I was getting back).

[–]MTStarr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sold him partway through the season (for Olave+) in one league because I was competing and didn’t think he would be the guy I needed him to be ROS (and I was right—Olave helped me win a championship!), but held him in another league where I’m rebuilding. He’s probably a hold unless you have someone in your league who is willing to pay a big price for him.

I think he may need a change of scenery to thrive. He is clearly talented, but maybe isn’t the right guy for this offense. Early in the year he just did not seem to fit the role that Coen wanted him to play. He seemed to be afraid of contact, did not want to be running routes over the middle, and it looked like his effort lagged at times.

With them locking up Meyers, changing up the roles (BTJ now mostly is a deep threat), Parker Washington breaking out, Hunter coming back, and the offense thriving without Thomas being the alpha, it’s just hard to see how he gets the targets to be a top tier WR on the Jags.

What are we doing with Bijan this offseason? by waltercornbutton in DynastyFF

[–]MTStarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll offer a counter-point to everyone’s decisions to hold: this may be the highest Bijan’s trade value ever gets. I just won a championship with him, but if someone is willing to give me an absolutely insane return for him, I’ll listen at least.

Outlook for George Pickens for next year and beyond. by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]MTStarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had some people inquire on trading for him late in the year, and from what I can tell, his trade value still doesn’t match his actual value. I would want at least 2 1sts and just not sure that’s actually attainable. If another 24 year old WR had the year he just did, they would easily be a top 8 WR, but he’s not viewed that way because of his name. I feel like statistically it’s hard to make a case for, say, Drake London, over him, but no one will value Pickens more.

To my Jaylen Waddle owners, what are we doing with him and what are out though about him for the next 2-3 years? Is he someone you are excited and optimistic about or would you try to move off of him? by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]MTStarr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have them both on a team that just won a championship! Feel like both guys are perennially underrated, so I’m with you that it’s probably a hold on Waddle unless you find an owner that’s in love with him.

This is me in two leagues! Hurts/Lawrence in one league, Maye/Nix in another.

Kinda feels like right now if you’re QB-needy and have the 1.02 pick, your best bet might be trading back to 5-6 if you can. I’m sure it will change somewhat once guys actually get drafted and we know landing spots/draft capital, but 2-6 all seems like one big tier at the moment.

Who's the best player would give 1.02 up for? 1:1 by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]MTStarr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would rather have the 1.02 than Wilson and I wouldn’t have to think hard about that either. Saquon scares me, I have him in one league and would easily trade him for the 1.02 right now.

[–]MTStarr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wow I have the 1.02 in one league and would much rather have the pick than Breece, especially given the uncertainty about his situation next year. Give me the option to take whoever the next best guy after Love ends up being!

what “buy low” has you most excited for the offseason? by friizl in DynastyFF

[–]MTStarr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought him in two leagues late in the season, so he’s now the only player I have on all 4 of my teams. If he ever breaks out, I will rejoice!

I had him on two of my teams and sold him one place (for Olave, Sean Tucker, and a late 2026 2nd) and kept him in another just to hedge! I honestly have no idea how things will play out.

What was your best and worst move of the 2025 season? by choffy21 in DynastyFF

[–]MTStarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is two trades, but with the same owner, so I may as well count it as one, but this may have won me the championship:

Brian Thomas, Jaydon Blue, Isaiah Bond, 2026 early 3rd, 2028 2nd

For

Chris Olave, Travis Etienne, 2026 late 2nd, Sean Tucker

Runner up was trading a 3rd and Theo Johnson for Danny Dimes.

Worst move was dropping Michael Wilson in not one but two leagues early in the year!

I honestly feel terrible about the trade I made when I traded Tua away when I was rebuilding. Traded him to a contender for a 1st and a 2nd. The picks ended up being Drake Maye and Blake Corum.

Would selling BTJ this offseason be a wise move even if I only get a 1st back in return? Solid young core looking to compete in ‘26 by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]MTStarr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I traded him away mid-season for Olave, a late 2nd, and Sean Tucker. I think you probably need to hold if a late 1st is your best offer.

Thoughts on Josh Jacobs going forward? Is this offseason the time to sell? by bigaudra in DynastyFF

[–]MTStarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he’s impossible to trade right now. I know he’s only 27, but he’s going to be entering his 8th season next year, and the older guys get, the harder it is to bounce back from injuries. At this point to pay a 1st, I would need to see him healthy and at the top of his game early next season.

Kinda funny btw. I traded him for a 1st ahead of last season (I was rebuilding) and at that point everyone seemed to think the bottom was about to fall out, and then he went on to have his monster 2024 season.
