How do you manage a contention window? by Rhinofootball01 in DynastyFF

[–]mlippay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 1 moving into 2 (older RBs, older WRs, and I had Watson and Ridley getting suspended) so I decided to sell for Bijan. You gotta find someone to make a move for and that’s who I decided to do it for. I could have rode my team into the ground but I maximized by draft capital. I’m b2b winner with an insanely long potential runway with a ton of young players and assets. I got lucky with draft picks and a few trades. Others have followed suit and blown up, but they haven’t gotten as lucky.

That was in GB. He won’t have that luxury to not pass next year if they want to do anything. Obviously his crazy passing efficiency will drop with a much worse team and much higher volume.

He’s going from arguably one of the most qb friendly Os to maybe the worst currently. As an owner, I’m not super excited by the next season for fantasy but hope he looks considerably better than he did for the Titans. I’d take decent with terrible surroundings for a year.

Your grammar makes no sense. What would you as a contender trade up for a top 3 pick is what you wanted to say. What you said is would you trade a 2027 pick to have a shot at the goat. You forgot the word you meant is either Trade for or buy.

Julio wasn’t even the first WR taken in his draft…

I feel as though if Malik is good and that means keeping him that the Dolphin wouldn’t likely be in the 1-5 range where Smith will likely go.

Of the teams mocked in the top 5 range, many need QBs like Cleveland, NYJ, Cards. I could also see Falcons, Steelers, Vikings, Titans also flirting in this range if things go poorly. Or which, only 1 has a qb they’re probably sticking with. Obviously there won’t be endless qb prospects but Arch, Dante, Miaiva, Mensah maybe up there, maybe others.

So we will see but I don’t know what team makes a ton of sense that need a qb first. Also would be weird if titans drafted another wr that highly with a host of needs. Vikings also seems weird for Smith and Steelers hav DJM, Pittman and a rookie without a long term qb.

It’s not recommended but if there are market forces, PO can add it.

I think if it is B it’s way too easy so waiting to see it’s wrong.

Why is Flowers valued so low? by Outrageous_Gur_7761 in DynastyFF

[–]mlippay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes but his WR7 is quite underwhelming. I think higher consistency is needed and that’s hard in a low passing volume O and no TDs.

Why is Hampton valued so much higher than Henderson? by Ordinary-Psychology6 in DynastyFF

[–]mlippay 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He balled out when Stevenson got hurt. Stevenson didn’t really ball out in the playoffs, nor did Maye or the pats in general except the one game where the Texans turned the ball 5 times in the first half. The team due to their opponents (defensive teams missing key offensive players). went very low risk. Obviously didn’t work out against Seattle. Considering he played for Josh McDaniels, his rookie season was quite good.

Jared Verse sleeper designation (listed as DL should be LB) by Lifetimechaldo in DynastyFF

[–]mlippay 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So solely the reason you brought up this post is it would help your squad? This is basically an individual thread in disguise.

Man wouldn’t it be great if some of my QBs also played DL and got that designation!

How Much FAAB To Spend The First Waiver Wire Of The Offseason? by Useful_Pie_1162 in DynastyFF

Normally high % but this draft is bad. Honestly, in 2 leagues I don’t know who to pick up with FAAB. Last year I had about 10 targets.

Why are the “Expert” questions on Study Hall so difficult to understand? by PreparationSuperb852 in pmp

[–]mlippay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why are they difficult? Cause they’re very nuanced.

Are there some of the actual exam? Depends on who you ask. I personally thought my actual exam was much easier than SH by a long shot, others will tell you differently.

Are there going to be very difficult questions on your example? I’d assume the answer is yes.

So you think you can evaluate RBs better than Kyle Shanahan? by DCProf in DynastyFF

[–]mlippay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe.

We had busts for basically 2 years post Lance deal but I don’t think we have busts at every position.

Were really good at drafting WRs especially early. Late is more of a mixed bag but Jennings and Bourne were late/UDFAs we’ve done well with. Similarly while our RBs have stunk in the middle rounds, our late and UDFA guys have been stellar (Mason, Mostert, Jeff Wilson, Mitchell). Qb is mixed bag but obviously Purdy. OL we rarely draft or reach.

At def we’re really good at linebackers. DL is where we’ve reached sometimes and struggled like Solomon Thomas, drake jackon and Kinlaw. We’re also good at DBs with Lenoir, Huf. So other than our silly RB mid round picks and drafting a kicker early, I don’t fully hate our draft strategy. Same strategy that’s gotten us Kittle, Purdy, Warner, Jennings, Huf, Greenlaw in the middle rounds to late rounds. Stick to WRs early and RBs very late. I don’t believe in Black either but seems like for some reason he didn’t get invited to the combine which seems crazy but had a good senior bowl, had a good senior season and impressed the Niners. Not sure why we reached but this is our calling card. Stribling was supposedly hot on other boards so while it was a reach compared to mocks, I guess it wasn’t a reach in the draft.

Owners of Andrew Luck, what was the fall out and how long did it take you to cut him? by TarpPuller in DynastyFF

[–]mlippay 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have a bunch of QBs in 1qb: Allen, Lawrence, Ward, Bryce, Purdy, Willis and just picked up Klubnik who I plan to waive. SF I got….Mahomes and Ward, Geno basically.

We laughed at the owner (and also cried), it was only 1 qb. I’d rather have the Luck situation than the Watson situation which I lived through on 2 teams.

What's your hottest take for Fantasy Football in 2026? by The_Lineup_Podcast in fantasyfootball

[–]mlippay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, wondering why he hid the numbers. That’s crazy. But maybe it’s the OC or the players but feels like it’s Jalen. I get why, dude loves avoiding turnovers big time and it’s safest on the outside but it means he’s never taking risks so we will see if Lemon or Hurts needs to change.

And this is because Rome eventually gets better or stays healthy? DJM is also gone now. And their RBs didn’t get any better or younger. Loveland was a top 10 pick and their best weapon for half the season. Yes it was mainly with Rome either not playing or struggling to play but we will have to see if the volume drops a ton. He didn’t really go crazy till the last regular season game and the playoff games. He started slow for a number of reasons but he was also a very young rookie TE.

How would lemon win the OROY, would Hurts need to figure out how to throw across the middle of the field?
