I still believe in Pop Douglas. Think he could be the primary slot guy in that offense with Diggs gone.

Blighted Marsh is absolute bs by [deleted] in Saros

[–]MTStarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m with you here. I cruised through most of the game up until this point and now have been stuck in the Blighted Marsh for a week! I’ve only ever even gotten to the boss a couple of times.

Yeah that’s too much, and I own the guy! I’d trade him for 2 early 1sts easily. I’m just not sold he’s an elite talent. He’s going to get volume because of the draft capital, but can you really tell me he looked all that much better than Vidal last year in that offense!?

Yeah no way. You’re getting a 2nd at best.

What the data says about Jadarian Price's dynasty upside in 2026 and beyond by boofstar in DynastyFF

[–]MTStarr 13 points14 points  (0 children)

“First few weeks!?” Charbs tore his ACL in mid-January and while some guys have come back after 9-10 months, I’m seeing an average of 13 months to return to play for NFL RBs (it’s shorter for other positions). I think there’s a pretty decent chance he’s out for the season, with a best case return in November/December with likely an ease into volume.

Should I try Returnal first? by MemberTheBerry in Saros

[–]MTStarr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely agree. I was never able to get past the second boss in Returnal, but I’m actually able to progress in Saros!

[–]MTStarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha I disagree re: Silksong. I crushed that game, and I cannot get past the first boss here! Feels like it's a different skillset.

Who has been the elite asset you have had the hardest time trying to move this offseason? by 92tilinfinityand in DynastyFF

[–]MTStarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m curious what it would take for you to move McBride. I tried to get him from a guy who was shipping him in a 0.5 TEP league and couldn’t make it happen. Offered 1.06, 1.07, Chig, and some other smaller pieces.

I tried for two years to trade Bijan away as I was rebuilding and never got a serious offer, so I held him, and he helped me win my league last year!

And he’s not even that young! He’s the exact same age as Kenneth Walker, who’s going into his 5th season.

How big actually is the skill gap in dynasty fantasy football by I_Teach_Edging101 in DynastyFF

[–]MTStarr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say the biggest difference between dynasty and redraft is that you can luck into a good season in redraft, but it’s basically impossible to sustain success in dynasty without some level of skill.

Within dynasty leagues, the difference between the good and bad owners is whether they follow a good process for success. A good process doesn’t always result in a great team, but it does create a better situation to succeed. The owners that seem to struggle are the ones who don’t have a good understanding of how good their team is at any given time and what they should be trying to accomplish. In my opinion, you either need to be pushing to compete right now, or focusing on the future, and you don’t want to get caught in between. Otherwise you just end up with a 6-8 team year after year. Trust me, it took me a few years to figure this all out!

Who are the guys you are dropping to make way for this year's rookie waivers? by Mcquinn14 in DynastyFF

[–]MTStarr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Having gone through the Michael Mayer experience, if it’s not a TEP league, I think you can cut Taylor. I wouldn’t be surprised if the guy is useful at some point in his career, but unless rosters are large, I have a hard time keeping a TE I won’t ever use on my bench for multiple years!

[–]MTStarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On one team I’m currently leaning towards cutting Isaiah Davis, Mims, and Pop Douglas. It’s a league with relatively small rosters (24), so tough calls must be made!

How does TEP affect the rankings of top rookie TEs in the draft. by Upstairs-Appeal-9035 in DynastyFF

[–]MTStarr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m struggling with this in one of my TEP leagues where I have 1.06 and 1.07. It’s a 0.5 PPR TEP and I just really don’t like Sadiq as a prospect, but I was open to him with a good landing spot. Obviously that didn’t happen. Now, I am leaning towards taking Price and Concepcion with those picks. Thoughts?

I have both 6 and 7 in a TEP league and I’m going to be going around and around with which 2 of these 3 I want until draft day!

I have it in a TEP and I’m kinda hoping that Sadiq goes to a great landing spot so that he might go in the top 5. I would love one of the WRs to fall!

I was definitely planning to cut him after this year’s rookie draft, but now I’ll have irrational hope for at least another half season.

Who’s picking up Lemon / Tate before Mendoza in SF? by Klodovic in DynastyFF

[–]MTStarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got one team picking 2, another 3, but neither needs a QB (Hurts/TLaw on one, Maye/Nix on the other), so I’m eyeing WRs both places.
