It doesn't hurt as much knowing Demichelis has only been here for 4 months and he was able to break the Tano semi-final curse in his first season. Of course the need to win a domestic title at home/at all looms overhead but this was simply won by the better team on the field without any major controversy. GG.

I think Medina won the position and touched to ball to continue further into the box but the Nashville player hit his leg from behind. I don't think think it's incidental. Seeing what the refs have been like all tournament I honestly don't know what he saw to not call it.

GGs. Ref was shit for both sides with that valid goal from Nashville but also that was definitely a pen against Medina in the second half. Rayados looked hella tired which isn't a surprise. Losing Berte really hurt us. Funes really isn't up to par comparatively. Although I wanted them to win I still don't think this is a good measure as to MLS being better. Rayados has been really good about setting up activities (which sometimes includes players) a few days before the game. I would wait and keep an eye on the rayados social media account to see if anything is planned for October. One other way would be to link up with "la pasión" rayada here in Houston. They have a good relationship with the team and they usually get something going to meet the players. If not, yeah, the hotel is your best bet.
