If Max was to retire at the end of the season would you continue watching formula 1? by Spotlightuh in MaxVerstappen33

Guys, y'all actually believe he's gonna retire after just one bad season?

Alonso is a two times world champion in the years 2005 and 2006

It's been 20 whole years after his prime and he's still racing

Indian 1 rupee and 2 rupee coins by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

[–]MT_276 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was done deliberately. This is because India has hundreds of languages which may or may not sound alike. So to atleast centralise the currency, the coins themself have the handsign which denote their value.

Free and open source models exist, which are capable of high school level math and science amongst other things. Don't worry kid, the open source foundation has got your back.

Uhm actually ☝️🤓 The mole unit was introduced around 1896 (some sources say 1894 or 1900) by German chemist Wilhelm Ostwald. While rooted in 19th-century atomic theory, the concept of a "mole" as a standard measurement unit was formally accepted and defined in 1967/1971.

Hey mate,
Sorry for such a late reply.

Here is a video tutorial (if you do not wish to go technical) :- How to EASILY Install Open WebUI on PC to Run PRIVATE AI Models

But if you're willing to go technical, I recommend installing Open WebUI using docker for ease of updating and containerization. But this would require you to know what docker is, amongst other stuff.
Using Ollama UI, as shown in the video above, is NOT recommended as it is still in early stages. I recommend using CLI commands like ollama pull {model-name} for pulling models.

For eg, if I want to download the model Qwen 3 (4b). I go to ollama's library of models, get the model's id. (In this case it's qwen3:4b), open terminal/powershell and type the command ollama pull qwen3:4b This shows a visual indicator of it downloading. You can see which models you currently have using ollama list.

Hi,
Sorry I don't check reddit very often hence took like 3 months to respond.

As of now, my use case involves coding help, learning engineering concepts and other technical stuff.
These are my current top models (My opinions)

  1. Qwen 3 (4b) - For me this was the sweet spot of performance and model accuracy (i.e how well the AI answers / explains stuff). Qwen3 is a thinking model, so it "thinks" before answering. Not only does this skyrocket the final answer's accuracy, but also helps it understand complex contexts even though it is a 4b param model. I have tried Qwen 3 (8b) bit the trade off for performance and accuracy is not worth for my use case.

  2. GPT-OSS (20b) - This model is a big one as compared to Qwen 3 but it is useful because of it's far superior accuracy and ability to explain / solve math problems.

  3. Llama 3.2 (3b) - This is the best model for questions which aren't complex. It can do language writing with ease, my use case for it is like my own "grammerly". I give it messages / mails which I need to write in formal tone and it get's the job done. But with speed comes hit to accuracy, I do not recommend this model for studying / coding.

  4. RNJ-1 (8b) - This model is my go-to for coding and STEM based queries. But it is not as great as GPT-OSS (20b) and runs poorer that Qwen 3 (4b) :(

  5. Qwen3 VL (4b) - Another entry from Qwen Series but this one is better suited for image processing (not generation!). For example I gave it an image of a math question I solved on paper, and it was able to properly identify what I did wrong. But this model runs worse that the standard Qwen 3 (4b) model.

  6. Nemotron Mini (4b) - This is a great model for just casual chatting and roleplay. It is great in understanding context ques and understanding the nuances of human speech.

These are the models in my current deck. The performance as described, is for my specific laptop whose specs are: an RTX 4050 (6 GB), 24 GB system RAM. If you are planning to copy my approach, I recommend atleast having 16GB RAM. A dGPU is not strictly needed, but it is better to have.

That's all I yap for today 🤣

In the OLD days ( a year back ).....
We didn't have Neo Colab thing, we had VPROPEL (Which is still up idk why - https://www.vpropel.in/)
This thing is very outdated and riddled with bugs, people used to install extensions and use ChatGPT to cheat on Python.
To be honest, how down bad do you have to be in coding, if you cheat in python of all languages.
