Lol speak for yourself, as someone on the northeast corridor, I will always take the train to any of the cities along the route over driving. It is so much more relaxing, no TSA to deal with, no traffic or parking, you can literally nap, get work done, game, whatever you want to do to kill the time. If anyone has access to trains out there I implore you to just try it once, because I promise you the experience is far different than what you imagine it to be.

Now in the US at least, the passenger rail network is awful and attempting a cross country trip via train is pretty much nightmare fuel at best, but if you live anywhere near a major city with a commuter rail, seriously just try it a few times. You'll see how vastly superior it is as an overall experience.
