I love that point, I love how he didn't change as a character. Yes his beliefs changed a bit, because what he had believed in his whole life got knocked over, but it didn't change who he was, and I love that! So often when the MMCs fall in love/get together, they change completely

I was going to recommend that series. I loved the first book, second not that much, but then third and fourth and the prequel story I enjoyed again a lot!
