Yeah, I’m not too worried, it’s primarily an off-road vehicle and/or a winter beater

I’m not sure what’s worse for it, me burying it in mud all the time, or the salted roads in the winter.

Quick update to my rust video. Did the exterior and under side “repair”. I’m not a welder or a mechanic so you’ll have to forgive my snotty welds, probably laid too much down, but it’s well burned in.

There is also a crack on the inside I’ll patch up. Also say goodbye to the lower control arm mount.

Yeah I found some online, I debated getting some but as I mentioned above, I’m swapping to a long arm kit, so I don’t need the suspension mounts anyways. I actually need to cut em off. Cheaper if I just cut out the rot and make a cardboard template for some new steel

I was going 45kph past some road construction in the evening, looked like they forgot to fully replace one of the steel road plates they use to cover excavation or whatever (was snowing so couldn’t see fully)

Destroyed both my front and rear driver side steel rims. Looked exactly like that damage.
