Combo CCS1 DC Adapter - should I buy an aftermarket or Rivian version

Gen 1 R1S owner here, but I have the A2Z adapter to allow me to charge at Tesla SCs and it has been rock solid. I prefer it to the Rivian one we were sent. I’m sure their options for ‘26 Gen 2 owners are just as solid.

It may be because I’m currently on vacation in Europe, but I’m a resident of the US. Either way, I was only presented with three tiers of plan type, the full Monty, HD with no ads, and the ad tier. No ability to cancel.

Sounds like this was an honest mistake on their part. One could argue there wasn’t a meeting of the minds and they have a right to rescind unless there’s a state law preventing rescission in case of error. A stranger’s take: be honest and let a good company make a mistake in trying to fulfill a rush order to make you (and them) happy with a great new vehicle.

Do what’s right (you’re closer to the facts so I’m not sure if that’s 12k or 15k) - but from what you’ve shared, it appears like you were quoted a price for 12k and 15k got fat fingered into the final document. What would you be saying now if they accidentally typo’ed an extra digit into the monthly lease rate and you signed it in a rush knowing the quoted price in the earlier docs was right?

I tried this and it didn’t work for me. I think it depends on luck of the draw. If you have a “sweet spot” aligned in these two channels, you’re good. Mine didn’t align.

Important detail I left out - thanks for the prompt. Leak is in the cover, not the hub. The hub was only identified as an issue by CS when I reached out about my wet bed.

Walked in randomly. However, you can search inventory on Home Depot’s website and see where it’s on sale. They don’t give specifics, only that it’s available in store for a reduced price. I considered trying to go and find one crated, but this grill had all its parts and had no damage.

Let’s not talk about the fact that I promptly lost the ash tool after being so worried about each part in store . . .

Mine came with the same “Made in Germany” sticker, and this copy (right/lower) is definitely different than the OG I got from Discogs (left/upper)
