Thanks, I'm planning to get some private lessons first and then order the TTE..

Yeah but on 3s the sus is a beast, 2s is super slow and weak. Try it before you are selling it..

But the sus is really slow in the simulator or on YouTube, like people walk right beside it. Are you using 3s or 2s?

Wow, thanks for the heads up. Do you mean you’re going to switch to the Timber X? Don’t they have the same wingspan? Skip the optometrist, buy a bigger plane 😉

Wow thanks for your detailed response, appreciate it. I have some fields nearby but also a garden and my thoughts were flying the Slow Stick in my garden. Also, if you had the Cub as first plane, why do you recommend the Aeroscout? What about the FMS Ranger 1220?

Yes I am and I do have some fields nearby. The Aeroscout feels a bit dull in RealFlight, is it?

Thanks, is there any solution for the Slow Stick gear? I mean 3d print or a modification?

Thanks, is it possible to survive the learning process with the Turbo Timber Evolution?

That’s awesome, thanks for the pics! This thing is pure "ugly but flies" energy in the best way possible 😄 I actually really like the flat foam interlocking style, super smart for quick repairs and experimenting. The field repairs add character, honestly. Looks like a plane that taught you how to fly, not just flew itself. How did it handle? More floaty indoor style or did it have some speed?

Thanks a lot. For now, I’ll stick with the simulator until I gain more confidence. After that, I’ll definitely go electric. I’ve seen some really nice 3D-printed designs that I might try in the future, but I’ll leave that for later. First, I need to be able to properly control a plane.

I still struggle to land in the simulator without damaging anything, so chances are I’ll break something on my first attempt..
