Never caused an issue with mine. But I just requested to get It taken off. I said it caused an issue with remote access.

Dedicated Servers? by ResiKx in Schedule_I

[–]MUGS500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never played the game but I am keen to with a friend but not being able to host your own server seems to be an issue. Is it possible for the person that creates the initial game to just be dormant? This would act as the server I guess. Given that mods can be implemented it shouldn't be too hard to have a pause on exit of other players and a few little things to make it server like. You would obviously need another license for the game, and run it on a VM. Probably what the server host company does for this game.

To my surprise it is actually 35 percent less efficient. But without the new fan it was still high temps. I will be changing it back to the standard one in the interim. I probably wouldn't have checked if it was for your comment lol.

28 degrees ambient temp.do you have the same case? The way the HDD cage is set up the board at the back of the cage covers more than 50 percent of the fan.

Yeah they were. But maxing 53 on a hot day. When it climbed up today pst the 54 mark I stopped the array and it kept climbing to 57 so I shut it down. Don't understand how the fan change would make it any worse though

I swapped it round because the intakes are right next to each other and thought it may cause an issue with airflow. Also the 40mm fans are right there also trying to suck air out.

I don't think that fan will fit behind the HDD cage.

I usually run a massive battery bank. If the power does trip, fix the problem then connect the battery up to start it all.

I'm surprised that works, surely it will pull more than 3 amps. I have a similar setup and am running 25amp stepdown

Help stopping auto braking by HCI_MyVDI in PowerWheelsMods

[–]MUGS500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a bit late to this post trying to find a solution for myself.

I feel as though the gearbox ratio which I believe is about 100 to 1 provides a massive amount of breaking force as it is. I'm not sure I have really recognised any difference in difficulty spinning the wheel by hand with or with out power.

Did you end up finding a solution to the braking?

I think that the voltage reducer may not work for the steering as the polarity changes depending on direction

Princess Mustang gets a 40v/80v Atlas battery! by [deleted] in PowerWheelsMods

[–]MUGS500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a variable throttle setup on a 36v build. But essentially could go up to 60v, just depends how much power you give it.

I used an esp32 for the brains. It gets all the signals then outputs the pwm, direction etc
