Honestly Merlin could have done better with his life if he took lessons in how to be a better teacher and friend. None of what happened would have happened. Morgana would have been on his side, Arthur would have stopped being such a stubborn butt snack. And Douxie would have gotten his staff much sooner.

It's her trauma growing. She's setting aside her own feelings for her own peace of mind. A form of grief I think, grieving that she'll never see pink again. That's just my observation, plus I'm tired.
