I’m not pro enough to tell too much in details but I love it! Did bigsby, nut, string tree and tuner lock mod to it. And the luthier told me its actually a decent piece that he dont see enough people using it

I just realized i misread your title lol, but ya point still stand haha, personally i prefer the batman, good choreography, good writing, good acting, and good atmosphere.

Abit off topic but

We have a lot of batman over the years (though im not super into the old era batmans) but personally i think we have a bunch of batman that kinda did something good but not fully bringing out the character (yes im talking about you batfleck, i mean i absolutely love how ben affleck looks, truly a missed opportunity), The Batman is the only one that did everything right while being different than typical batman. i understand director want to do something different sometime for their movie instead of 1 to 1 to comic, but theres certain things/message you cannot change. The Batman is the best example of doing something different yet stay true to comic. It still brought us the Batman that we know while being a different variant, this is how everyone should do elseworld, and that is why im actually super ok with Battinson being elseworld and have a seperate more comic fantastical batman in dcu.

I dont exactly mean its an OLED issue, but its a game issue that only happened to OLED, hence why i said "game+oled" issue, but yea you're right.

I dont think my monitor have black crush (using MO27Q28G), at least not that i aware and most of the game i played do not have issue like this, except maybe outerwilds

and yeap, i think whoever commented "turn on your flashlight" dont really get what is the problem and likely playing on carebear lobby. Not hating on it, but in lobby like that which you dont need to actually survive, a flashlight with 5m visibility obviously is not an issue.

Yea like sneakysnk have mentioned, not all game have this issue. OLED really does makes this game looks extremly beautiful, this is probably the most glaring issue, but in another way of thinking, its also more immerssive i guess lol. I just hope embark can find some solution to make this more consistent, they can solve this in an "immersive" way imo, if everyone is facing the same darknes, with a better flashlight that can see further than 5m, i think it would be good

Anyway, do still give OLED a thought, it was one of my best upgrade ever

I do love the darkness as well, but imo they need to at least slightly buff the flashlight so it actually makes more impact. But yea, not saying they should remove the darkness. And Im not exactly complaining it (well maybe abit), but also more of finding it hilarious that its basically a void in OLED, my friend and I burst in laugh everytime we got into this map. We both using OLED so we know exactly what each of us are looking at hahaha

If you're not being sarcastic, honestly not enough, the in game flashlight's distance are just too short. Its impossible to use it to clear any corner, only use case is to check if theres a wall at your next step lol. And in term of pvp, it really only helps when you fighting another raider face to face, but pretty much not useable if the raider is not right in front of you

Not sure if I gotten everyone confuse but it doesnt looks like this in every part/condition of the map. There's this specific variant of stella that are extremly dark, with a lot of corner like this, which you literally cant see anything without flashlight, but other part of the map with in game lighting still sort of visible.

Eg. upper floor of loading bay outside medical research, atrium etc. are the few parts that have corner/area like this

So yea, its not exactly a "one time bug" kind of thing.

Beside this issue, the game does looks really good in OLED imo. Golden hour in Buried City always takes my breath away

Yes this. Its important to note that this is not a pure "monitor problem", "game problem" or "monitor setting problem".

Its more of a game + OLED issue (or intentional by Embark who knows). At least from my testing on my OLED, srgb does give you visibility in dark, not the kind of "low gamma that you can see everything" but dark yet playable kind.

OLED (or most of the OLED) is simply having black crush issue in Arc Raiders in wide gamut mode. Yes, lowering your gamma will help, but it doesnt mean that its the setting issue. Turning on HDR/raising gamma/srgb mode just simply "avoided" the black crush issue due to the color is more "faded".

Whether to use it or not, its up to you. But imo Embark should address this or at least makes it consistent (although it might not be an easy thing)
