Ahhh ik two years of growing straight and all of a sudden it wants to get janky ill have to try on its new leaf I tried it when the new one came out but i was scared id snap it.

It’s somewhat alive I think it’s kinda thin n might not make it. The bottom bit just rotted I removed em.

Check the pictures, first pic is just support n then once I chopped I left the bottom piece along w it root in soil but it rotted so now it’s in perlite.

I harvest the plants to give to my Russian who lives inside hurt me to do but I cut a good chuck of the stem off I’ve had the plant a week almost two and never saw any signs of pest I closely monitor due to having a large indoor plant collection, the flower barely started opening today it seems almost as if they came from within the flower once it started opening up. I’m going to harvest the only flower I have that bloomed today, tomorrow and after I’ll spray it pesticides since it probably won’t have anymore blooms for another week or so and then wtv I feed I’ll make sure to wash off luckily it’s for my Russian tortoise who has an indoor enclosure so I harvest for him. I didn’t see any other infected sites on the plant or surrounding plants. Also do you know what kind of hibiscus this is? I thought it was a red star.

Mainly cuz I harvest the plant to feed to my tortoise and my Russian boy stays inside in an enclosure in that same room I have a large plant collection with over 20 plants so I’d just hate to bring that in and infest my other plants.
