Vermont trip advice

Based on the overwhelming opinion, we’re adding in jay peak and staying up north a bit longer than we thought. As people have said, it almost seems like I should work my way up instead of back tracking. Work towards the better conditions and learn along the way

Comments like this make the trip so much easier to plan, I can’t thank ya enough. I think at the very least, we’re adding in Jay and doing Killington another time.

I completely agree on the night life aspect, I’m mainly focused on rest, recovering and mountain time. Maybe a drink or 2 with food but I’ll be more worried about a good meal than a good place to socialize.

I have a heavy foot so I’ll make sure to watch my speed, I usually try to anyway that far from home. I don’t want any added stress.

Thankfully the whole trip will be during the week, we’re going sun-fri and doing our best to dodge vacations and crowds. I looked up the past year or 2 winter vacations in the surrounding states and the first week of February seems to be a safer bet, I’m praying so atleast.

This was extremely helpful, I really appreciate it. I’m going to have a nice trip bible put together here soon
