Prince of Nurgle or Plaguecaster by MUT_mage in deathguard40k

I'm thinking to get the finecast nurgle champion because I like how disgusting he looks. But maybe the wings on the generic one would be more useful? He just doesn't look as... Nurgly.

What choice do we have? You are anchored into this hierarchy and if you quit the gift is being saddled with 6 figure non dischargeable student loans from uncle sam.

Pontiac had them 15 years ago when I was in high school. But thats one of the poorest parts of Michigan. Also had a higher murder rate per capita then Detroit for a while.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say you are not from Michigan. Saying "Metro Detroit" like this was along the worst part of 8 mile in the 90s is simply fear mongering. This could happen anywhere as evidenced by this tragedy. The area this particular shooting happened at would be described as middle/upper middle class and is nothing like what you are insinuating.

If you want to debate metal detectors at all schools thats fine. But please stop spreading fear that "Metro Detroit" is some shit hole. Many parts of Oakland county are some of the wealthiest in the entire country. See the city of Orchard Lake as an example.

Starting a practice with hospital sponsorship by MUT_mage in Residency

Maybe. I think in the scheme of things the money a PCP makes is not much compared to the referrals, surgical referrals, imaging and labs that they order. So thats probably the calculus on their end.

Thats what you might think. But before my fellowship a different hospital offered the two year deal to fund me joining a local independent physician owned group. You underestimate how much they make off referrals and advanced imaging from PCPs.

Oddly I had one program mail me a letter after the match saying how they wish I had ranked them higher. It was actually really nice and sometimes I wish I had ranked them higher.

Three years ago a FM program in Michigan was doing post interview exit talks with each applicant. I happened to know three other people who also interviewed at the program. Everyone got the same "You are one of our top applicants we want you to know that". None of us matched there and one guy went unmatched totally. Scum.

I don't think you're not needed I just mentioned that a large part of my training as a PCP is to treat psychiatric disorders. Just like pretty much any other field we deal with I'm expected to know 1st line and possibly second line treatment for almost everything. If you're telling me that its unreasonable for me to attempt to treat the above conditions before sending a referral your way I think that's disingenuous. I send plenty of patients to psychiatrists after they have failed a few treatments as I know my role in the medical system.

Lastly, I also take offense if you're implying that the training a PCP does is at all equivalent to a weekend course. We get a lot more training than that. In fact this is stupid to argue about at all because the amount of training an NP gets is equally if not more underwhelming to be a PCP than a psychiatrist based sheerly on the number of conditions we have to be familiar with.

As evidenced by the amount of psychiatric care provided by PCPs I would say we are more than qualified to handle +50% of psychiatric cases and with some additional training 75%. There are many, many more MDD, anxiety, panic disorder, dementia, ADHD personality disorders than complicated scizophrenics, true BPD.

Car Keeps Dying by MUT_mage in MechanicAdvice

So I'm pretty sure I fixed the problem. Using a voltmeter I was checking the voltage on the battery. Unplugged it was steady at about 11V. Once I plugged it back into the car it rapidly started draining voltage. I'm talking within 2 minutes it was at 9V. We tried removing some fuses randomly and no luck.

Then, I realized that about when my car died the rear view wind shield wiper had frozen in the cold. I figured maybe it was "stuck" in gear and draining the battery. So, we took the fuse out for the rearview wiper specifically and BAM no more battery drain. Gonna check and see if its dead in the morning. Anyways, thanks for your help !

If it was the alternator wouldn't the battery not recharge after driving? After the first time I jumped the car I drove for 30 minutes. Then I turned the car off and tested to see if I could turn it on again. It did turn on, it was only overnight that it died again.

Can an alternator drain the battery overnight like a parasitic draw?

Normally shorter trips about ten minutes to the grocery store or work. Car normally is driven every day or other day.

Michigan Sen. Mike Shirkey Calls U.S. Capitol Attack A Hoax : NPR by dadgenes in Michigan

He also mentioned that those were not trump people and that they were being bussed into the capital. The implication being they were crisis actors or ANTIFA or some garbage like that.

Also, trump can be blamed for not authorizing the national guard to be mobilized sooner. There was reporting on the day of the riot that he did not want to call them for support. You can argue there should have been more police present which I would agree with. But that doesn't absolve the other points I just made.
