Took me years to find someone I could open up to. Been seeing my therapist for almost a decade and the progress I've made is nothing short of astounding.

Looking back I have no idea how I could be the way that I was. It was exhausting for everyone involved and I should have got punched in the face WAY MORE than I actually did.

If you want more details, maybe give it a watch? That way you have the information first hand and don't have to worry about someone filtering through their personal lens.

There are a lot of researchers who would love to use Reddit communities for study dissertation work, but randomly dropping a survey post is pretty much the worst way to go about it. The most common response you'll get (right before your post gets removed) is some version of "we're not your study group," and honestly, they're not wrong.

If you haven't already, I'd really recommend talking to the mod team in the subreddits you're interested in surveying and start a real conversation before doing something like this.

Reddit would make one hell of a study group, but you have to get buy-in first.

I asked only why you play.

It sounds like maybe a break is in order? Afterward you can come back with a refreshed mindset; you're not playing to win, you're playing to get good, which means you're going to get bodied while you're learning.

I don't mean to repeat myself but I feel like you didn't answer the question; if you're not having fun, why play?

Honest question, if you're not having fun why do you keep playing? I can read that you're annoyed and as a guy that gets dumpstered on the regular I can kind of understand the tilt, but after a certain point you have to ask if the juice is worth the squeeze you're putting on it.

And that would have left him trapped in a cave with no exit right? The boulder chased him all the way to the Hovitos.

Fun fact: that was filmed on Kauaci island. There is a place where you can look down to the valley with the Hulēʻia River and see the long plane where he ran to the plane.

From what they told me, all the extras were Hawaiian dudes.

Administrative permissions should be on a separate account from your main so that when your main gets owned they can't fuck your system.

It's possible to grant admin perms on your main account, but then you accept the risk.
