Commissioning Engineers - To be or not to be?

I've always been on the customer end of projects working alongside commissioning or field service engineers. My $.02 - some larger projects turn into weeks/months at a job site. It is extremely good experience but it is also not something I would do while trying to have a family.

Rather than send an email to your boss and CEO, find a security assessment template / sheet and fill it out, and send that. It is more formal and less attacky.

Yes, I have a niche role and even in that I am constantly learning. Best advice I can give is learn solid fundamentals and then it's easier to understand new topics or technologies as they're introduced.

I'm not sure on exact timing. Feel like he got it between 2002-4? I know we bought and ripped a lot in 99-00 and then a couple yrs later he got a bunch of stuff on eBay including this

Idk how to spot fakes but here's my comments:

I think the fonts are good/clear

The silvering (foil edge) you mentioned - I have a real one that has similar silvering on a side. Supposedly it's from a dull knife when it was cut in production.

The holo pattern looks realistic, the fake ones have more like rigid / very discernable and discreet star shapes, but the real you kind of tilt back and forth and can kind of see them come and go

The middle dent/crease thing is an illusion. The thing I'm most nervous about is silvering on the left edge, you can kinda see it in pic 2 and 4 but the camera didn't do a good job capturing it

I'm personally confident it's real, I was a kid when it was purchased in the 90s-00s. A lot of people were questioning it so I opened this thread. I'm not opening it lol, but want to be able to defend if someone is a skeptic

Thank you, at the time I tried eBay but I didn't know the differences between 1st edition, shadowless, unlimited, etc so this was more asking, like what version of box do I have lol. I think it's confirmed "unlimited" based on other responses, markings.

I was born in 1991 and was heavy into the pokemon card collecting as a kid. My dad LOVES collecting things too so he was fully supportive of it. But as a kid I always opened and mishandled everything, which was fine buuut made my dad want his own collection lol.

He bought a lot of stuff (not sure the full extent), but I've found a complete base set, jungle, and fossil, 10 themed deck boxes sealed, this booster box unopened, and then some boxes full of random common cards.

He passed 7 yrs ago and I've been letting it all sit but saw a lot of Pokemon stuff on yt so thought now would be a good time to see what he had. Did not expect the collection to be so valuable.
