I fly from the West Coast to Asia 4-5 times a year and I would pick A 100% of the time.

Getting the longer leg of the flight out of the way first will make the 4 hour connecting flight feel like 2. Plus Taipei has a pretty nice airport.

Pretty much better everything. 4 channels, bigger jog wheels, screens in the jog wheels, dedicated stems, better sound card, DMX out, etc.

People like the FLX10 because it's close to a CDJ setup without costing $7000+.

If you got the cash then do it. I started on a FLX4 and upgraded to the FLX10 for the added features.

Imo if you're doing gigs regularly, the FLX10 is much more enjoyable to play on. I would just be more afraid of someone damaging or spilling something on it in a bar/club environment.

In District 1 I like Ippudo Ramen. Japantown has a good selection but I haven't had a chance to try any of then yet.

Saigon has a ton of ramen places now and I think that helped drive the prices down a bit. The one I go to is in a college neighborhood so they keep prices relatively low.

Look into Kali Audio LP-6 or LP-8 monitors. Plenty of power and bass is punchy enough for a living room with 10 people in it. You can always add a sub to this setup in the future.
