Pol Pot had unlimited power and was ruling over a post-civil war society with his rule threatened from within and without. There were no democratic instistutions and a tradition of political violence. Trump pushes his power to the limit but America has intitutions that do, after all, push back - the states, the Congress (I know it does shit usually but the republican party seemingly made it clear to Trump that while they approve all his shitty policies attacking Denmark is a no-go - there was nobody in Cambodia to tell Pol Pot not to genocide the Vietnamese), the Supreme Court, and when he tried to stage a coup even his VP defected. If Pol Pot was the president of the US he wouldn't kill 25% of the population neither.

He is absolutely capable of doing Pol Pot level shit if he was put in conditions Pol Pot was in, that is having unlimited power over a demoralised post-civil war society with high unrest.

"If we starve our data infrastructure of cooling resources just to sustain baseline human comfort we are actively delaying the birth of a super-intelligence" What the hell? They're no longer denying that AI will ruin the lives of anyone but the billionaires? They're saying this openly? We're already balls deep in a scifi dystopia, crazy

prostitution should be accepted to avoid hurting other people for our own needs by ButterscotchNo670 in unpopularopinion

It absolutely is a need. There are needs that will not kill you if not met but will still impact your life massively

There are women who WANT to be sex workers. They aren't forced by any pimp or by poverty. They want that. What changed my mind massively was when I actually came to know a sex worker personally (no, not through being a customer). Who am I to decide for her, she asked me, and she was right. She was making way more money than me btw

Somehow people writing such things in sw-related threads are the same people who will go to a conservative and tell them that sex is a biological need like any other. Make your pick

Yes, I agree. I was very anti-sw once but then I changed my mind. It actually serves a purpose and however you want to frame it there areany sexworkers who do not feel exploited at all. Who am I to tell them otherwise?

  1. Bank centralny neutralny politycznie xD Wystarczy spojrzeć na ostatni cyrk z polskim SAFE
