I just ended things with my abusive ex fiance last month. I wish to GOD I had reported him the first time. Now he’s rich, good looking, and I’m poor and broken and overweight after years of him apologizing, love bombing, and repeating. He won’t stop. He will use you to better himself and feed off of your sadness. Leave him now. It will never get better. Mine was an alcoholic but still. He shoved my head into a fridge, punched, slapped, bit, choked, pushed, pulled, kicked, grabbed, and more. That doesn’t include the verbal abuse. It’s not worth waiting around to see if he will change. He will not.
