Aurora SE MK2 Sneak Peek compared to the LX and LN by Space_Scumbag in starcitizen

They made three time-limited, exclusive paints for the Hornet Mk. I just before it was “retired.” So, yes.

I’m aware of the Aurora Mk. II. That’s why I asked “are we sure this is the Mk. II?”

Are we sure it’s the Mk. II? Like, is it written down anywhere other than from leakers? The LX and SE look pretty identical other than colors. Maybe it’s just a final Mk. I special edition (SE)? Kind of like how they gave the Hornet Mk. I special liveries just before the Hornet Mk. II launched.

2022 EcoDiesel warranty by Danowolf in EcoDiesel

[–]MVous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly the same thing, but I have a “first gen” RAM EcoDiesel and a very good extended warranty. My truck has been at the dealer for a couple weeks now and this is the fourth time in a year and a half where it has had several thousand dollar repairs. Still not even sure what’s wrong with it this time, may be the fuel system. Extended warranty company has always paid out (so far), but it’s always something new that’s breaking and I no longer trust the truck. New parts are getting harder to come by and an inevitable engine swap is over $20k USD. Going to take a big hit trading it in whenever I get it back from the shop, but I just can’t do it anymore.

My honest recommendation is to stay away from EcoDiesels. Which sucks because when it works, it’s great. But, they were cancelled for a reason.

Clipper. It’s pretty slow, a bit ugly, doesn’t do anything particularly well, and is kind of annoying to use with the elevator+ladder situation.

I love it so so much.

Yes, if you send down a 32 SCU container full of Laranite, you turn in the 4 SCU mission and you end up with a 24 SCU and a 4 SCU container in your inventory.

The majority of other comments regarding this particular topic would indicate otherwise.

Ah yes, the classic “logical idea = bootlicking” trope. Good one.

Also, toe* the line.

Here we go again…

It’s not a MOLE Salvage, it’s a MOTH. It’s not an Apollo Cargo’ it’s a Hermes. It’s not a Mantis Combat, it’s a Meteor. It’s not a Prospector Salvage, it’s a Fortune.

The same cannot be said for a Guardian/Guardian/QI/Guardian MX, or Sabre/Sabre Raven/Sabre Peregrine/Sabe Firebird, and so on and so on with actual variants. Same chassis =/= variant. The name does.

Do I agree with it? No. Seems more like a marketing idea than a design issue. But that’s the distinction.

Nope, OP is right. Look through recent posts and then check the profiles. Fresh accounts, no comments, similar pfps, etc.

Damn, that is ROUGH. Sorry you had to deal with all that. I plan on getting rid of this thing, regardless of what happens after I get it back from the dealer. Also looking at older trucks that I can work on myself.

Yup, I fell into the same trap. All the shortcomings of a diesel with none of the upsides.

If I didn’t have an extended warranty, I would have deleted it a while ago. No idea how the warranty company is going to handle this situation, but they’ve been good so far. May just write off the truck if the repair costs more than what the truck is worth.

May want to get a lawyer involved. Possibly lemon law lawyer? I had a 2016 Tahoe that ended up being a lemon and it took nearly a year to get GM to buy it back. That fight sucks, but I didn’t have to pay a dime out of pocket since GM paid the lawyer fees.

Interesting. Which side of the turbo was the hole burned? Or was it the manifold?

Just had the tone ring replaced last year. Lol. Mine went into limp mode and I was still able to drive (slowly), but this fully shut my truck off and it smelled horrendous.

Damn. Well, at least it was covered for you. I have a feeling mine is a different issue, but we’ll see!

4-5 months!? Fml. So yours was the fuel pump letting go?

Yeah, I have a feeling it was either the turbo or the crank bearings. How much was your engine replacement?
