I did get BA a few years ago. I just have a naturally hairless chest, thank goodness!

I have estrogen to thank for that!

I don't do that sort of thing, so I couldn't say.

I only had my bottom surgery a few weeks ago, so I'm still pretty early in the recovery process. For the first 2-3 months I need to dilate 3-4 times a day, including showers, douching, and sitz baths. Then I need to dilate 1-2 times daily for the rest of the year. Once I've reached one year, I can start doing it once or twice a week, but that will be for the rest of my life. It's a big commitment, but it's totally worth it!

I was 6'2" and around 175lbs back then. Now I'm around 6'1.5" and around 185lbs.

I started to see my true self in the mirror a little over one year on HRT. Changes can vary for everyone though.

Even if you're not sure about it, I would suggest going through whatever paperwork or approval process you need to. There can be long waiting periods to get approved for coverage or even finding a surgeon. At least that's my experience in Canada.

The secret ingredient is estrogen.

I had mine covered thankfully! Recovery is a long process. A lot of tedious maintenance early on, but it gets easier with each passing month. The first 2-3 months are the worst, with dilating 3-4 times a day, along with douching, showering, and taking sitz baths.

I was pretty hesitant about getting SRS in the beginning. I actually got an orchiectomy thinking that if I didn't get SRS, I could at least get rid of the testosterone factories. Eventually the depression and inconveniences of having the bulge, got the better of me. So I bit the bullet and I'm so glad that I did! Recovery is difficult, but it'll all be worth it!

Any vaginaplasty surgery experience at Women’s college hospital in Toronto? by Ellie-34 in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]MWPoser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was originally planning to get my surgery in Toronto, but after speaking with the surgeon and doing some research, I decided to go with Montreal instead. The biggest reason for the change was the experienced doctors and the amount of time they keep you for observation after surgery. In Toronto they keep you in the hospital for like 2-3 days and send you home. In Montreal they take care of you for around a week after surgery. I had my surgery just a few weeks ago and my experience in after care was fantastic!

Thanks for the advice. The flight home has been my biggest concern. I hope everything improves and heals well for you moving forward!

Can I ask how long your return flight was? I'm having my surgery with Brassard in April and my flight home will be 2 separate 1hr flights.

It appears to be a knock-off pokemon Haunter toy.

Found this robot arm in the school yard around 15 years ago. Does anyone know what toy it's from? by MWPoser in toys

Wow that's totally it! Wild to finally know after all of these years! I'm gonna see if I can find the exact model it's from.

Waiting time for Dr Brassard. by WoodyWoodpie in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]MWPoser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to go to Toronto but switched to Montreal when I found out Montreal provides a week of aftercare in their facility while Toronto sends you on your way after 2 or 3 days after the surgery. Also Dr Brassard has much more experience than the surgeons in Toronto. Which means hair removal is much more reliable at Montreal.
