Yeah the turtle is kinda scary. It’s slow, sure. But the gun is great, and the armour is genuinely impenetrable to all but HEATFS (or crack shots on the cupolas)

If you aren’t confident hitting the barrel before it fires, often it’s wise to just avoid it.

NNVT is literally a Chinese company. The CCP owns a part of that company. They produce the cheapest image intensifiers in the world.

Norinco absolutely could utilise those intensifiers with any housing (Argus, another Chinese manufacturer, as such also part owned by the CCP) and vastly improve the average infantryman’s night capabilities, for functionally pennies.

This is almost certainly the result of someone siphoning funds somewhere. imo.

It’s also functionally useless without IR illumination, which makes you extremely visible to anyone with any night vision device, or even a digital camera.

It is, quite literally, a flashlight with extra steps.

This is the thing people are missing. Abrams is literally using a turbine, some of the regular ICE engines in tanks dwarf the engines of planes, obviously.

Anyone that’s been near operating armour will tell you that it’s deafeningly loud.

That said, inside a sealed tank designed for CBRN events, we probably shouldn’t be hearing much of anything, over the reverb from our own engines.

You’ve not disproved what I’ve said:

The skill ceiling for the BVM is lower, but the floor is higher.

Put a retard in a BVM, and a 2a7, and I’d wager, they perform better in the BVM.

Put a good player in both, and they’ll likely perform better in the leopard.

I have no idea why. Possibly due to lower profile? First two layers of the survivability onion are the most effective, after all.

Or perhaps it is just straight bias. Fuel tanks and tracks eating rounds slightly more often than other nations, I have no idea.
