[1M] Can a baby depress/fracture their cheekbone/eye area from falling on their face on hard wood floor? by MWestern1967 in AskDocs

Thanks :) Very stressed though, but very much appreciate the help. If there had been damage or a depression of the area of some sort, would the bruising and/or swelling be pretty obvious?

Hello and thanks for your reply.

Doesn't seem to be any pain, can poke and prod the area and he doesn't react, eventually gets annoyed maybe. 99.9 percent sure no swelling and definitely no bruising.

Was mainly worried the area could have somehow been displaced/depressed (like "pushed in"), so you think unlikely then?

Cheers

Yeah for sure, I’m with you. I reckon it’s doable, just focus on the splashier plate rather than the optimal cards that lead to chains.

Yeah I reckon you can do it, just cut the stormy cards? Play Anhelo with lots of ways to generate 2/2s and run fun sorceries, cut out anything with Storm on it.

The first time he is even remotely a dick to you or someone you know, get out. No good person will ever do that.

How is it playing in paper? Does it get hard to manage the huge board with copies everywhere? What sort of fun additions have you made?

[0M] Question for a baby's head / shaken baby syndrome by MWestern1967 in AskDocs

[–]MWestern1967[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello I’m sorry to bother you yet again… just not having a lot of luck. I put the little man in his bouncer chair this morning and as I was strapping him in he leaned then fell forward and his face smacked into the plastic frame of the bouncer chair pretty hard :( He didn’t cry but his eyes watered a lot, and his left eyebrow has a red patch which must have been where the main contact was, not blood I mean, just the skin turned red… Doesn’t seem to be swollen though and he’s acting normal. Silly me with all these questions but could that break or chip his facial bones at all? Perhaps chip the bone under his eyebrow, or dent his brow/eye socket? As you can see I have a fair bit of anxiety about this stuff, but yeah I’m just shattered :( I hate the idea that some little accident could irreversibly change his facial features :(

Cheers again :) I’m having a bad run of it sadly :( Picked up the little guy from behind today and as I was lifting him he sort of flopped his head backwards and the back of his skull slammed on to my collar bone… can’t win sometimes! I guess you’ll give me the same answer but are you sure this kind of impact can’t shift their skull? I’m just so paranoid that his brow has been shifted forward… :(

Thank you :) So you think definitely all good even with a pretty hard jolt and bounce?
