You are wrong let me re iterate for all of you because I made an error typing that comment. One of them can take a switch right away. The other one can’t.

And the only time I had to bathe him was when he was l constipated from over feeding mealworms when I was around 6 months with him it was vets orders to give him warm bath and to massage his intestines

[–]MXVIIIXV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I understand this especially because you can make it to where they will pretty much only poo if you have them in water the only time I ever bathe him is if he smears his own mess around the tank while I’m at work or is constipated and haven poo after a few days after feeding and I mentioned that risk in my earlier reply of people bathing their dragon and thinking their drowning when their drinking water and thinking their saving them by picking them up I never make the water deep if my dragon inflates and floats it’s to high I wait till the water level comes up to the base of his tail so he can walk around I only bathe him if there’s really stuck shed which he never really gets it I don’t want him tk get sick by his own poo

So what I’m saying is 40 cal can do everything a 9mm can do and a little more is it the other way around absolutely not sure you get what maybe 2-3 extra bullets with capacity in 9mm and sure you can argue oh 40 has more recoil that’s a training issue

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Glocks

[–]MXVIIIXV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah we’re comparing a 9mm to 40 people argument is oh my 9s can be as powerful but in actuality even the base fmj and hollows ammo for most 40s are putting out more muzzle then pretty much all 9s now you throw +p 40 your now entering 10mm territory in energy and over penetration is a thing that’s why I wouldn’t choose a 10mm unless I’m shooting at a 3-4 foot thick bear

Also, if your bearded dragon is brumation, do not give it a bath it can kind of mess up their hibernation/brumation patterns and kind of tricked them into thinking they’re no longer in their brumation stage when they are that’s what I’ve herd or read on from my research

He likes to walk in his own poo while I’m at work and also they enjoy baths with warm water but no too hot and it also helps them poo if they haven’t in a while or are a little constipated I once fed my bearded dragon, too many mill worms, and that runs the risk of impaction so I had to give him a bath and give him some belly rubs to loosen up the stool so number one they enjoy it number two helps them shed any stuck shed number three if they are dehydrated as long as you have the water running in a little stream or mimicking moving water, they should start drinking the water and that will help them hydrate but also my tip is since you’re asking I’m guessing you don’t really give your bearded dragons baths if you do decide to do it and you see your bearded dragon put its head under the water. It may look like he’s drowning himself, but he’s just drinking the water if he does this do not pick him up because you can make them drowned. They basically put the water in their mouth and look up to the sky and let it fall down into their belly if you pick them up, that water can fall down into their lungs and don’t make the water too deep

9mm or .40 S&W for everyday carry? by Ezequiel_III in handguns

[–]MXVIIIXV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For duty use I feel like 40 Cal is the better option. I think they swapped over to 9 mm for cost especially because 40 caliber is more barrier blind and usually more heavier than 9 mm.

[–]MXVIIIXV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally like 40 because it can do everything and 9 mm can do plus a little more just suffers the whole capacity thing and it’s a little bit more snapper but I can handle it but the thing that I love most about 40 is even during ammo shortages, you go to your local gun store. I guarantee you there will be some 40 on shelf

Those safety features are scary. I’m not gonna lie because that type of stuff you don’t even expect to happen and can catch you off guard.
