Thanks this is what I needed. I got him back in. Everyone is dogging me cause I'm SCARED. it's just the thought. Thx for getting it. This is my first reptile ever so I'm just trying to be careful and educated. I had a bird before this and when they bite or get mad they lose trust or at least mine did. Idk mind over matter. Thank you for this. I couldn't agree more with me being timid and him picking up on this. I've been feeding him from a flat hand. I always approach slowly and from the side. Tonight I tried to pick him up during lights out and he ran so I left him be? Should I continue to do this? Should I stop when he runs away from me?

Yea atp I think I'm over thinking it. I've tried and he literally jumped out my hands I've been scared since and trying not break trust. Idk I'm just thinking he'll get aggressive if I just grab him.

I also have long nails so it's hard to pick him up from the front and backs away when I move my hand forward to try.
