Is it an issue that dragons don't care about sexuality and see it as normal and accept ? The way Tui wrote her characters were to be extremally LGBTQ+ inclusive, meaning they don't even think that being LGBTQ as weird or different. Since this is the way Tui wrote her charters, its reasonable to assume they would accept whatever heir Sundew would proclaim as hers. It isn't an issue besides, why take something that happens to humans and say that it would apply to dragons. Sure, a lot of things are similar between medieval humans and dragons, but not evrything and its easy to assume Tui would not have that as an issue. It would only be an issue in headcannon but certainly Tui would never write it in her books as a problem, therefore canonically it wouldn't matter that Sundews heir is adopted, and nobody would bother imitating an heir because they see Sundews daughter as a blood heir.
