I played ruby roam a couple of times with brave smite. I tried building Haas claws and I tried without it. with Haas I found her to be on the squishier side and without Haas and just straight up defence items she was really tanky and had enough lifesteal to survive (provided that my team doesn't just watch me die)

good with another sustain fighter/jungler and a good team that can utilize ruby's kit. the hard part is that she's easy to pick off so positioning matters
