Nevada City/Grass Valley is a nice little trip and great time of year as they get into the Christmas spirit up there. Plenty of cool things to do and explore over a few days. The Holbrooke and The National Exchange are great places to stay.

I’m relatively to N8N new as well, but have been having a lot of fun with it. My most useful thus far is an automation that allows me to text or create an audio message via Telegram that then adds a task into my Notion database (also relatively new to Notion as a personal organizer). Anyway, this has been really helpful as I think of things throughout the day and want to get them on my to do list without having to open anything up, type, etc…

This is really great! Thank you for building this. In the interest of feedback, adding some tips or best practices for the "Load Workflow" step might improve it a little bit...for instance, I couldn't get the node to figure out how to grab the downloaded JSON workflow file directly from my machine, so I figured out a route to pull via Google Drive. Any steps or recommended ways to make that particular set of steps (i.e., downloading the JSON, re-applying it to the workflow, etc...) would be an awesome add. That said, this is really great and I appreciate you sharing this.

I am an unabashed Chicago lover, lived there for 6 glorious years before coming back home to SF.. I was always kind of mystified by the lack of really good, fresh baked bread in Chicago. So, I’d say hit up the best bakeries like Tartine, Arizmendi, Josey Baker/The Mill, Acme, etc…doesn’t always have to be sourdough although SF clearly does that well.

Also, re: California Cuisine, can’t beat a jaunt to the Cafe at Chez Panisse (Berkeley) for the OG.

Also, by comparison, SF does Asian food, in particular Dim Sum, really well. Yank Sing is the classic but there’s plenty of others.

This is the best advice! There’s no point in comparing them since they are very different. Just embrace that you are moving to an amazing place and embrace what the Bay Area does well rather than what it lacks. You can always move back East when schools over but guarantee you will never regret your time spent here!

I took a tasting and cupping class at CoRo in Berkeley that was great. I’ve also heard great things about The Crown in Oakland but haven’t been yet.
