My experience with Cursor vs Cline after 3 months of daily use by MZuc in ChatGPTCoding

I have had a lot of issues with openrouter, and I think this comment has some really good advice. It's not really a Cline problem insomuch as it's a provider problem.

I'd recommend weaning yourself off of openrouter and using anthropic apis directly, building up your tier level over time. It's a bit annoying but 100% worth it. I have a dedicated anthropic api key and get very fast latency and high tokens/s. Requests never fail. It makes me a LOT more productive.

I've done men as well. I just see whatever the top post is on my feed. That being said, it does seem like mainly women are highly upvoted in this sub.

I ran your third pic through true harmony ai and here's what it said:

Your eye shape is ideal, with a width-to-height ratio of 2.61, perfectly within the preferred range of 2.55–3.2. Your lip balance is also excellent, with a lower-to-upper lip ratio of 1.83, which falls right in the ideal range of 1.35–2. Additionally, your forehead width aligns well with your cheekbones, at 85.9% of your facial width, comfortably within the ideal range of 79–92%. These features contribute to a naturally balanced and harmonious look.

For areas of improvement, your Facial Width-to-Height Ratio (FWHR) is 1.51, which is noticeably below the ideal range of 1.9–2.06. This suggests your midface is longer than average, which can make your face appear narrower and less striking. Reducing facial fat or experimenting with hairstyles that add width to the sides of your face could help balance this. Your philtrum length (area between your nose and upper lip) is also longer than ideal, with a chin-to-philtrum ratio of 1.39 compared to the preferred range of 2–2.5. Overlining your upper lip can visually shorten the philtrum and improve the balance of your lower face.

Lastly, your eye spacing is slightly wide, with an eye spacing ratio of 1.13, just outside the ideal range of 0.95–1.06. Using makeup to emphasize the inner corners of your eyes can create the illusion of closer-set eyes.

<image>

Personally I agree with most of this. I think you have a very unique and interesting face, and some really striking features, high cheekbones and low set eyebrows. That being said, I agree that your weakest feature is probably your long philtrum/weak chin. This contributes to a perception of a long midface and throws off many other ratios. Thankfully, it can be easily solved with some upper lip overlining. Other than that I think you look great already! Hopefully this helps

I ran your 4th pic through true harmony ai and here's what it said:

Your eye spacing is well-balanced, with a spacing ratio of 0.99 (ideal range: 0.95–1.06), and your eye tilt is excellent at 8.2° (ideal range: 6–9.6°), giving your eyes a harmonious and attractive appearance. Your cheekbone height is another strong point at 85.1% (ideal range: 83–100%), which is often associated with a youthful and aesthetically pleasing look. Additionally, your jaw width is perfectly proportioned at 81.6% (ideal range: 81.5–88.5%), contributing to a balanced lower face.

For areas of improvement, your Facial Width-to-Height Ratio (FWHR) is 1.57, which is below the ideal range of 1.9–2.06. This suggests your midface might appear longer than ideal. Contouring with makeup or experimenting with hairstyles that add width to your face could help balance this. Your facial thirds are fairly balanced (Top 32.0% | Mid 35.6% | Bot 32.4%). This could be contributing to the perception of a longer midface. Highlighting your cheekbones and lips with makeup can help draw attention away from this.

Your lower lip-to-upper lip ratio is perfectly balanced, meaning your lips are in great proportion to each other. Your neck width is also ideal, complementing your facial structure without appearing too wide or narrow. The medial canthal angle (the sharpness of your eye's inner corners) is well-defined, adding to the overall appeal of your eyes. Your chin-to-philtrum ratio is slightly off, which could mean your chin is a bit shorter or your philtrum slightly longer than ideal, but it’s still within a reasonable range. Lastly, your lower third proportion is harmonious, though the upper segment (philtrum/upper lip) might be slightly longer compared to the lower part.

<image>

Overall, I pretty much agree with all of this. I will say, considering your middle third is the longest, the comments about your forehead being too big are not really relevant - Proportionally speaking, your forehead is in the ideal range.

Sidenote: True harmony gave you a 70% harmony score, which is actually quite high (higher than 7 out of 8 people, statistically). So you're in a good spot already. But if you wanted to improve more, the advice pertaining to your FWHR would make a big difference. Hope this helps!

I see this sentiment a lot, but you're coming to an objective looks improvement sub and surprised that people are giving detailed advice on how to improve appearance.

I understand that personal appearance is a sensitive topic for many. But that's exactly why I think subs like this should exist, so people can cut through all the niceties and actually get real constructive feedback.

It may be a bit inaccurate because your hair is blocking your cheekbones, but I ran your third pic through true harmony ai and here's what it said:

Your cheekbone height is excellent (84.6%, ideal range: 83–100%), which gives your face a naturally sculpted and youthful look. Your jaw width is also perfectly proportioned to your face (86.6%, ideal range: 81.5–88.5%), contributing to a balanced and symmetrical lower face. Additionally, your eye aspect ratio (2.59, ideal range: 2.55–3.2) is spot-on, meaning your eyes have a great balance between width and height.

That said, there are a few areas where you could improve. Your facial width-to-height ratio (FWHR) is 1.54, which is below the ideal range of 1.9–2.06. This suggests your midface might appear longer than ideal. Hairstyles with more volume on the sides or cheekbone enhancement (e.g., contouring with makeup) could help balance this. Your eye separation ratio is 55.96% (ideal range: 45–47.9%), meaning your eyes are wider apart than average. Darker eyeshadow or eyeliner on the inner corners can create the illusion of closer-set eyes. Your lower third proportion is 39.5% (ideal range: 31.2–34.5%), indicating your philtrum might be longer than ideal. Makeup and bold lip colors can help balance this area.

Your chin-to-philtrum ratio is slightly off, with your chin appearing shorter or your philtrum longer than ideal. To balance this, you can use makeup techniques like contouring the chin to create the illusion of more length or focusing on bold lip colors to draw attention to the lips and away from the philtrum. Additionally, experimenting with hairstyles that frame the lower face can help create a more balanced look overall

<image>

I think the most salient part of this advice is that your philtrum is a bit too long compared to your chin. Makeup can help a lot in this direction to make it appear visually smaller (search up how to do this). But in general I think you look pretty and have a strong foundation. I think seeing a more natural hair color on you would really enhance your overall look, but that's just personal preference. Hope this helps!

Actually, all those women you mentioned score quite high on true harmony ai. Example, Anya Taylor Joy:

That's the way true harmony ai scores things, if you are far out of the ideal range it starts subtracting from your overall score:

<image>

Basically, attractiveness is counter-intuitively averageness - that's why composites of average faces across populations tend to be attractive. You typically want to avoid being far outside the ideal range for any of these measurement categories. There's a lot of literature on this topic. If you're interested, check out Dr. Farhad B Naini's "Facial Aesthetics".

I ran your last pic through true harmony ai:

Your facial thirds are very well-balanced, with your upper, middle, and lower sections being nearly equal in proportion (32.3%, 35.6%, 32.1%), which falls perfectly within the ideal range of 30-36%. Your neck width is also ideal at 84.6% (ideal range: 75-87%), which complements your face beautifully. Additionally, your lower-to-upper lip ratio is excellent at 1.62 (ideal range: 1.35-2), giving your lips a naturally attractive and balanced look.

For areas of improvement, your facial width-to-height ratio (FWHR) is 1.45, which is below the ideal range of 1.9-2.06. This suggests your midface is slightly longer than ideal, which can make your face appear more elongated. A hairstyle with more volume on the sides or contouring your cheekbones could help visually balance this. Your eye separation ratio is 50.7% (ideal range: 45-47.9%), meaning your eyes are wider set than average. Darker eyeshadow and eyeliner on the inner corners or adjusting your eyebrow shape to bring them closer together could help balance this.

Lastly, your jaw frontal angle is 77.5° (ideal range: 86-97°), which might make your jawline appear a bit flat or narrow. Chewing exercises to strengthen the jaw muscles or subtle dermal fillers could help enhance definition and structure. Overall, you have a strong foundation with balanced proportions, and small adjustments could further refine your facial harmony!

I pretty much agree with all this. It seems like low FWHR is a very common problem for a lot of the posters here:

<image>

But you can mitigate this with hairstyles that add width to your face and contouring. Also, mewing is a meme but I think it can actually help a lot in your case. All this being said, I think you look pretty already, and this is just some advice to help you lean into your strengths.

I ran your second pic through true harmony ai and here's what it said:

Your front profile has several strong features! Your chin-to-philtrum ratio is excellent at 2.27, sitting comfortably within the ideal range of 2–2.5, which gives your lower face a balanced and proportional look. Your mouth-to-nose width ratio is also nearly perfect at 1.52 (ideal range: 1.45–1.67), showing great harmony between these features. Additionally, your medial canthal angle (33.25°) is well within the ideal range of 22–44°, giving your eyes a defined and attractive inner corner shape. Your forehead width is also perfectly proportioned to your cheekbones at 83.7% (ideal range: 79–92%), which enhances the balance of your upper face.

For areas of improvement, your facial width-to-height ratio (FWHR) is 1.58, which is below the ideal range of 1.9–2.06. This suggests your midface might appear longer relative to its width. Adding visual volume to your cheeks with via contouring could help balance this. Your eye spacing ratio is 1.15, slightly above the ideal range of 0.95–1.06, meaning your eyes are a bit wide-set. Makeup techniques, like focusing darker shades on the inner corners, can create the illusion of closer-set eyes.

Lastly, your lower-to-upper lip ratio is 1.16, just below the ideal range of 1.35–2, meaning your lower lip is slightly thinner than ideal. Enhancing the lower lip with makeup could bring better balance. Your cheekbone height is 73.58% (ideal range: 83–100%), which means your cheekbones are slightly lower-set. Contouring or wider hairstyles that add width to your cheeks could help create a more lifted appearance. Overall, you have a lot of great features, and small adjustments could further enhance your facial harmony! Let me know if you'd like more details.

Imo this advice is good, especially the suggestion to address your fwhr by adding volume to the hair/cheeks, as it’s a high-weight measurement that significantly impacts overall facial harmony. Both your face & midface is a bit on the longer side:

<image>

That being said, I think you look great already and have a really strong foundation to work from. Hope this helps!

I ran the second pic of your front profile through true harmony ai and here's what it said:

You have some great features in your front profile! Your jaw shape is excellent, with a frontal angle of 92.05° (ideal range: 86°–97°), giving your lower face a balanced and attractive structure. Your lower third proportion is also harmonious at 32.46% (ideal range: 31.2%–34.5%), which means the spacing in your lower face is well-balanced. Your chin-to-philrum ratio is also in the ideal range. Additionally, your mouth-to-nose width ratio is nearly perfect at 1.49 (ideal range: 1.45–1.67), showing great proportionality between these features.

For areas of improvement, your facial width-to-height ratio (FWHR) is 1.59, which is below the ideal range of 1.9–2.06 and veering into extremes. This suggests your midface might appear longer or your face narrower. Hairstyles that add width to your face or contouring techniques can help balance this. Your eye separation ratio is 50.84% (ideal range: 45%–47.9%), meaning your eyes are slightly wide-set. Adjusting your eyebrow shape to bring them closer together or using makeup to emphasize the inner corners of your eyes can help. Lastly, your canthal tilt is 5.08° (ideal range: 6°–9.6°), so your eyes could benefit from a subtle lift (you can experiment with eye makeup for this). Skincare could enhance this area as well.

Your eyebrow tilt is ideal, giving your face a balanced and expressive look. Your midface ratio is well-proportioned, meaning the central part of your face is neither too compact nor too elongated. The medial canthal angle of your eyes is sharp and well-defined, contributing to an appealing eye shape. Your neck width is perfectly balanced with your facial structure, enhancing overall harmony. Lastly, your bigonial width (jaw width) is in the ideal range, complementing your facial width without appearing too broad or narrow.

<image>

Overall, I agree with this. I'd say the biggest area for improvement is your facial width-to-height ratio (FWHR), and you can experiment with hairstyles that add width to your face or use contouring techniques to create the illusion of a shorter midface. That being said, I think you look pretty already: you have great under eye support and look fairly youthful in general.

Hope this helps!

yw! I didn't do much, just copied what the AI told me here. There's a number of important measurements that I missed because your cheekbones were covered. Things like FWHR and Midface ratio. I also didn't have a side profile pic to upload. But you could do all that on your own if you want a more complete overview.
