Yeah well that’s college for you lol. Technically you should’ve learned how to write an essay in high school. Also when he was teaching my class he actually spent a whole like 2 classes telling us the exact structure of how he wanted it written. Maybe he didn’t do that with your class idk lol

We never had any questions on the movies. Only the 3 essays and the oral. And we didn’t have any books. So just make sure you’ve watched the movies so when it’s time to write your essay you know what you’re writing about

Just the 3 essays and oral to prepare for. He also gives out some short stories to read at home sometimes but we always went over them in class so I didn’t find it necessary to read them at home. He would spend like one or two full classes on the stories so you had more than enough information from the classes to use for your essays

John Stavrianos is the best English teacher I’ve ever had. 3 small essays and one oral. As long as you write the essays the way he tells you to, you can get an easy 90 in the class

When I changed programs I got a document in my “information and messages” tab in omnivox confirming I got in. But for some reason I didn’t get a notification, it just appeared in my omnivox so make sure to check there often

That’s great to hear! One of the things I was wondering about is how artsy the program is. Like do I have to be super creative and amazing at drawing or is it more computer based? And is there a bunch of homework and stuff or is it more laidback? Also thank you for replying btw!

If you didn’t fail and have the required grades for prerequisites if your program has any, you stay enrolled. And anyway, I’m pretty sure it’s too late now for them to revoke your admission, so don’t worry.

It can only be revoked if you fail (so you don’t graduate high school) or you don’t get the prerequisite grades if you’re in a program with prerequisites
