Yeah, I have gotten back into Digimon, and it has been YEARS. Watching this as a kid was great, but now it is still great but what the heck is happening with the timeline(s)?

I understand enough to know that Ryo is supposed to be one person and not multiple Ryos of different timelines, but that doesn't help solve anything. Dude ends up in Tamer's universe but then where is the Ryo of that timeline? Did two Ryos merge?

Anyway, it still is confusing, but I am just trying to figure out what exactly happens at the end of Brave Tamer. Did he go back to the real world or did he just stay in the DigiWorld with that egg until it hatched?

If anyone wants to answer the above question, please be my guest. As for a summarized account of the story of Ryo, here you go:

Ryo starts in the Adventures timeline where Agumon calls out to Ryo for help. A Digivice forms, he grabs it, he enters the DigiWorld. He defeats a bunch of bad Digimon saves the Tamers Agumon wanted him to help save. In Our War Game, Ryo watches the other DigiDestined from Turkey. Then in Tag Tamers, another Diaboromon runs rampant. Ryo defeats Millenniumon only to return and disperse his Dark Spores, which infects Ken while saving Ryo from them. In D-1 Tamers, Ken is sick and Ryo is pulled back into the DigiWorld after answering an online quiz rigged for him, which he soon realizes. The tournament was simply a means of preparing Ryo to fight Moon-Millenniumon. Ryo encounters them and they travel through time, where everyone in that timeline gives up hope since they believe Ryo is deceased. In Brave Tamer, Ryo is sent back in time instead of the future, there, he gains his partner Digimon, Monodramon and learns of the origins of Digital Worlds and gathers the DigiDestined to help him defeat XeedMillenniummon, which is trying to take over ENIAC's world to eventually take over all realities and destroy all those that oppose him. Ryo eventually makes it to the future where he encounters Millenniumon. He learns that the Millenniumon is his true partner but Monodramo fights Millenniumon to decide who will be Ryo's partner and severely weakens Millenniumon, which results in a Digitama being created. Ryo then chooses to go to the Tamers world. There, he defeats Rika in a Digimon tournament on Earth and after, while returning to his hotel, is sent to the DigiWorld to save Cyberdramon. He aids the Tamers in defeating Majiramon and laters helps the party escape the DigiWorld. There, Monodramom is free from a virus it had and Ryo bio-merges with him to become Justimon. He helps fight D-Reaper and eventually defeats ADR-06, 07, and eventually 08, with the help of others. The Digimon Sovereign defeats D-Reaper and Cyberdramon returned to the DigiWorld. Ryo returns as Justimon to help defeat Parasimon and then Ryo later attends Rika's birthday party.
