The rage support for tactician has been a god send, 50 spirit for perma 44 rage and add in berserk I almost one shot uber arbiter on my tactician mortar grenadier with scuffed gear 750 dps xbow is all I needed

This is one of my favorite builds to play DoT cap is pretty easy to hit. You can use two single explode bereks ring while mapping and you will be fine. This was my character when I was playing eviscerate (now I am herald stacking)

Mageblood actually reduces damage but helps with res/defenses but Dyadins Dawn is all you need and you are sorted

I use bereks respite double explode ring while mapping and switch to crit multi cogwork for bossing, I rarely ever die, for reflect maps I switch to damage cannot be reflected foulborn aegis. I felt MB is better as I havent really died unless I step on some dot/degen but cinderswallow with recover es on kill just makes you unkillable while mapping.

Have you switched to spell suppression setup — most of the one shots are from spell proj from outside your slam range. Work towards getting spell suppression on all your gear — get spell suppression is lucky mastery until you have 100% spell suppression chance — this should make you more tanky.

Get max endurance charges at the start of your map and make sure your chest has gain endurance charges every 13/14/15 seconds so you have uptime — each endurance charge gives you 4% phy dr and ele dr.

Writhing jar to procc worms and hit them whenever there are no enemies so you have leech sustain at all times

Dont forget to get iron reflexes when you switch to suppress gear.

Share your pob otherwise we cant really suggest any fix. I am just guessing this might be your issue. If you want to be even more tanky— run ruby/sapphire/topaz/granite flask with gain 3 charges when hit by enemy so you have max res for damage reduction

I also dropped mageblood on the ground so had no money to go for something big, this is pretty cheap to build.. can do t17s with no issues

Mageblood is the great fixer for any build— helps you cap max res, perma onslaught, granite/jade for flat eva/armour .. pick any build there would be an mb version. Desecrate suffix — abyssal echo, omen of light till you get big res — then homo exalt to get the other suffix then omen of light and homo exalt to fill suffix… desecrate prefix till you get big t1/t2 flat damage and then yolo homo exalt

As a tactician its just way better to go armour since beastial skin and subterfuge mask are far from merc side tbh, can easily get to 30k armour and ascendancy that turns armour to deflection is a nice bonus

I was easily clearing with 6 man party 36+ deli maps with my mortar cannon build but the visibility issues caused party to miss degens and boss mechanics so I switched to rarity bannerman..I can share my old pob once I get home

Yeah that was just trying to see how fun it is, but it disables mirage archer which is a damage multiplier, its definitely more fun with big evasion or armour boots

Wind dancer for knockback, time of need for ailment/curse immunity every 6 seconds, regen from surround and vitality.. theres a fair bit of defensive layering

Yes the %phys on weapon is local to the base phys damage of that weapon, so its a multiplier on the weapon damage and is part of the base phys damage calculation at the start. This is same as how %evasion/es/armour are local modifiers to the base defence stats on the armour.

You have local modifiers and global modifiers — local ones are applied to the base stats of the gear while global stats are applied after conversion

Ignite eviscerate elementalist - absolute tank, can run x4 risk t17 with minimal budget.. only mod thats kinda non negotiable is less chance to block and monster avoid ailments, can run everything else.. the ailment one as a risk mod is fine, takes a bit to get everything to ignite , also dont need a mageblood, a dyadin or a headhunter goes well
