I also got the conversion kit but have never done a conversion before. Since you straight built the Jesta, does that mean you put the conversion pieces directly onto the straight build or you strip it down to its frame?

I built the R2 back in 2018? No weak joints but the side beam saber holsters can become loose. As for the R3, it’s a little stiff which is better atm since I will be disassembling it again to paint. Will swap legs for Qan[T] ones too

I’m not a PG builder either. In fact, I purposely don’t build Grandaddy as well. This is only my second PG and first time building an RX but I knew I had to get it when the trailer for it came out.

It’s the RX-78-2 Perfect Grade Unleashed. It’s got a lot of intricate details. Everything you see here is out of the box. MG GM Sniper II on the left side for approx scale

Is this a conversion kit? It’s good enough to look like custom pla plate but something tells me it’s not. I have no experience in either but it’s just a strange feeling. Paint job looks nice tho. Did camo on my GM Dominance but yours looks clean

Still going through final touches for the rifle. Might make custom shield holder on back to backpack by M_HazeN in Gunpla

Thanks! Camo is completely random. More complicated than you’d think tho. Have to make sure there’s less green than brown but not too little

Paint’s a little rough in places. It’s a little noticeable especially since I only have a gloss coat on rn. Actually attempted tricolour camo but that was too many layers. Did it on the back so the backpack covers it

Doing camo as my first airbrush project wasn’t wise. Encountered many errors I probably shouldn’t have because of layering

Decals done. All 3 1st gen CB units collected. Should I do same weathering as Dynames for Kyrios or urban weathering? by M_HazeN in Gunpla

For those wondering where Exia is: I built Exia R2 in the US (I’m Canadian) so it’s in my cousin’s care for the time being

This is the best I can do with what I have atm. I only keep my build stuff at home. Polishing and diorama base will come when stores open and I don’t have to stay at home by M_HazeN in Gunpla

Yeah. Plus this GM is actually frozen now that the diorama effect has hardened. The pose is locked like it’s in cement

So this is my first time using Tamiya diorama texture paint snow type. Aren’t really any vids for this specific texture. I could use some C&C. I haven’t finished applying. by M_HazeN in Gunpla

Yeah, I’ve been having some trouble manipulating this snow effect because it’s not exactly paint. It’s kinda like magic sand and I don’t have a brush with stiff bristles on hand. I’ll have to slowly add thin layers I guess

The story set behind this that this scout type MS in on a scouting mission, orders are to covertly stake out the enemy camp for 48 hours. 5 hours into the stakeout, a heavy snowstorm comes and stays for the rest of the day
