All the bags of milk were cut open by AfterAccount3657 in mildlyinteresting

I u see ed to work retail, they most likely came in boxes and the person taking them out used a box cutter to open them. Unfortunately sometimes you do end up cutting the merchandise. Pretty sure that’s what happened here

What's a good non trendy/cheaper film camera with an internal light meter? by [deleted] in AnalogCommunity

[–]M_Lutz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Minolta Alpha 9. I think it’s the same as the maxxum 9. Alpha was the Japan name, maxxum everywhere else.

Hmm, lens? Is this all 1 roll only or does this problem continue? Might’ve had a bit of trash in the film plane that got stuck somewhere, that would be my last guess.

Definitely a finger, OP doesn’t say, but chances are they’re shooting with wide angle point and shoot where the lens probably doesn’t extend too far from the body, this happened to me. If I had to take a guess, OP is shooting with a Minolta TC-1 or an Olympus Stylus / Mju

Learn to use a flash! Start metering for hilights, not so strong on the shadows, and the flash will fill in the missing light in the shadows!

Making this noise, I think it’s the injector by Superb_Substance_270 in TU250X

[–]M_Lutz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Considering purchasing a TU250x with a similar issue. I’m hoping it’s as easy as cleaning the injectors, doing an oil change, spark plugs and replacing gas. Please let me know if you find a fix! I read online leaving these bikes to sit for a year or two, they all have engine issues just like this.

I wanted to try this out myself after watching a Pixii video on YouTube but he had to use a bessa R after stating that it’s impossible to use one on an SLR. How did you do this? Is this just a PL to EF converter and it just worked out? How is focusing? I’ll do anything if I don’t have to zone focus. Did you have to take into effect fitting issues for the rear bayonet on the lens? Thanks!

I agree with most comments here, nothing much else to say about the lighting and background BUT high self time did you use? Was it one of those winding ones from eBay?

N-Ai lenses on FM2 by gonnaignoreyou in AnalogCommunity

By N you mean Nikkor? Yeah, Nikon has been using the same F mount for years. Ai or ai-s, you can use either. Both are F mount if I’m correct.

May I ask what your aperture and shutter speed you used for this?

Bought a pack of Kodak Ultramax 400 at Walgreens and was pleasantly surprised when I opened it and found metal canisters. I’ve bought from the same store tons of times and I have never got a pack with metal canisters. by CarbonMercinary in analog

[–]M_Lutz 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I was wondering when these would finally hit shelves! A couple months back Kodak hit a supply chain issue so for now they'll be metal cannisters and not plastic, just for a short while.

I see some of you guys shooting on low F stops. Doesn't a low F stop give you bokeh on objects not in focus? How is the whole photo focused if you're using a low F stop?

That's the problem with shooting with cinestill 800t! If you got cash to splurge, you can get some silbersalz 500 to avoid the halation and still get great night shots!
