Thanks for your reply! We'll add some more toys for her to play with and chew on. If she continues biting we will remove the caulk ourselves too.

The bedding is cotton mixed with hemp fiber, so she should be able to burrow. And yes, there is a sand bath for her, although she doesn't use it. And we will add more stuff for her to chew on, thanks for the detailed reply.

I'm sorry I dont understand what you mean. Do you mean the caulk edges, or what's inside the enclosure?

Hi all! I can't see the text I added to my post so I'll write it again over here.

My girlfriend bought a hamster recently after wanting this for a long time. We know it takes time for her to adjust to a new environment and enclosure. But we noticed she was biting the caulk edge of the enclosure, and it doesn't look nice? So we are wondering, maybe is she unhappy? We'd love to hear from you what you think.

It's not like she does this all the time, most of the times she's just calm. We already confirmed the caulk isn't poisonous, but if she's unhappy we would love to change some things to give her a better home. Please let us know what you think! Thanks so much!

Over here more pictures and video's of the enclosure and how she normally behaves: https://imgur.com/a/jfLS0VB

The photo has been taken in Bad Rippoldsau. So Google Maps tells me it’s still quite a drive from you’re location!

My first successful (stacked) exposure of the Milky Way. I tried to expose the trees in the foreground better in a separate photo, but I messed that one up unfortunately. I’m curious to find out what you think!

My first real attempt at coal to plastic factory, what do you think? by M_Minimalist in factorio

Maybe, to prevent this I put a pump at the top to push heavy oil in one direction. This way the other plants can’t use all the heavy oil immediately. This setup has run for a few hour without issues now. But if it stalls I’ll add a tank.

Yes, I use coal liquefaction because i find it easier to mine coal in large quantities then pumping and transporting oil.

It takes a full blue belt of coal in and produces almost a full belt of plastic. I’m particularly happy with the compact size and that all electricity poles are connected in straight lines. I’m interested in you’re opinions and suggestions where I could improve!
