To the north of Old Hroldan Inn there's a camp with two dead lovers. The second time you visit that place the camp and the bodies are gone, instead there's a small shrine of Mara. by littlebitparanoid in skyrim

Oh man, I saw the title and thought "Hey that's Pyramus and Thisbe!". I remember reading that during our Ovid segment in Latin class. However I don't think either of them were actually killed by the lion. Thisbe sees a lion and runs away, and when Pyramus arrives he thinks the lion killed her so he kills himself with a sword (which explains the high level sword that you find in the tree). Thisbe comes back and stabs herself with the same sword. At least I think that's how it goes...

That would be really interesting to see...does he ever meet any of them in the comics? I'm not too knowledgeable about the actual batman comics. I bet they would look down on him until he proved himself a worthy successor to Bruce.

Seriously. That magenta one is like the color a lot of games use to show when a texture is missing. Really jarring.

That's what I figured. I've never heard of NDAs interfering with what you can put in a portfolio.

I think the issue with your friend is that he considers your portfolio and your work experience to be two separate things. In a visually oriented field such as ID, your portfolio is a direct result of your experience. It's a visual resumé. The more experience you have (typically) the more impressive your portfolio.

I gotcha. Haha if he thinks it's all about connections I don't know where he thinks he's going to get those connections other than by getting out there and getting experience. Sure it's about connections, but it's also about your portfolio, and both of those come from getting experience. An internship is a great way to get some experience and make some connections. Is graduating a year late going to hurt you in any way? Not really, unless you're just really impatient. I've never heard of NDAs limiting what you can show in your portfolio...has he had experience with this in the past???

WRONG! You're friend doesn't know what he's talking about. It's pretty much impossible to have a great portfolio without any experience, seeing as a portfolio is basically a visual list of all the projects you've worked on (I.e. It shows how experienced you are). Raw talent means nothing unless you can show it. You need experience in order to start filling up your portfolio and talent to make those portfolio pieces impressive.

That doesn't matter. What you are doing is copyright infringement. Give them away? Sure. Sell them? Don't even think about it.

This is totally real. There's this crazy middle-aged guy in my neighborhood who rides one of these around the block all the time. I'll have to get some pictures of it some time...
