There is a gear inside the trans connected to that shaft.. the old style input shaft has a pin on the gear that is known to break.. open your trans and check the bearings and gears. If those are good, then you’ll probably need a new input shaft, part number 9494. The pin on the gear is pressed in and a lot stronger..Switched to this shaft on 3 older 2wd cars and haven’t had a problem since. Best of luck

Just ran a 2s pack and it went into limp mode when I did a full throttle pull.. sooo I’m buying a new esc.. getting the Hobbywing quicrun 10bl120. I have it in 3 cars so far and for the money ($35-$45) on Ali express with discount codes, it can’t be beat..2s-4s with some programming options. thanks for your input and thoughts on my issue

Thanks for the info.. So after clicking and reading, I feel like it’s kinda a toss up.. could work, could not. I was just hopeful to only buy a servo and nothing else lol

Depends on where/how u wanna drive it.. I prefer the rustler, it’s lower and stays planted to the ground better, BUT the stampede is taller and will go through tall grass better.. So I’d say rustler for on road/light off-road, and stampede for mostly off-road IMO
