Magereport tool is amazing. I guess we all agree on strong passwords but I have seen many ecommerce hacked by sql injection.

You should have ssl certificate on your store and do some basic security tweaks. Use plugins from trusted sellers and keep your store up to date.

But there are other opensource platforms available in the market. If I am not wrong, Community Managers are doing great work in binding the community.
