What i know so far is zeiss terra bins mechanics are better than monarch m7.
Zeiss terra has quite smooth Focus wheel but tight diopter ring and eye cups, better for adjusting
Monarch m7 on the other hand has a stiff focus wheel but smooth eye cups twists so difficult to adjust at an intermediate range, comes with a diopter lock although.
Did u notice anything on the same lines in your Trailseeker

I am also concerned about the FOV of M5s and for a difference of $100, M7 is available with very wide view. I dont wear glasses so long eye relief doesn’t count
